Is there any way to save this extended warranty plan?

I tried calling Ford and they said there was an ESP on the truck but could not give me more info and said it's not transferrable.

Searching online I can see that extended warranties are transferable for a fee but I'm assuming the dealership/previous owner didn't bother.

It's a 2024, just over 13k kms (6000 miles) on it. Would be a bonus to be able to get that extended warranty, I'm in Canada and they're pricey from the quotes I've seen so far.

ESP plans can be cancelled and you can get a pro-rated refund. The previous owner probably cancelled it.

Unless the previous owner transfers it, you're SOL.

Buy a used vehicle extended warranty.
He can get the "new" vehicle extended warranty since it's a '24 with only 6k miles.

He's have to get the Ford "used" vehicle warranty if we was past 3/36 (plus a grace period, I think they give you a few months and a few thousand miles).

OP: As stated, the previous owner can get a prorated refund. I really don't think you will be able to convince him to give you the warranty for free instead of getting (most) of his money back, if he hasn't already. So you're either going to have to pay a dealer for a warranty or pay the previous owner for it. You may can find a dealer to sell you one for less than he got it for anyway.

Makes sense if they could get money back on that ESP.

I'll shop around for the warranty, any recommendations for buying one in Canada?
