I take it you're charging on 120v since it only added 4.7kw. You might have added about 5 or 6 miles. That increase might be reflected when you power the truck on.

I'm guessing it's not that cold in SW VA? Subfreezing temps can cause a lot of energy to warm up the battery which can take a while on 120. The numbers in the app can be hit or miss though. Seems to be a coin flip on something not being right. Can try refreshing or restarting the app.

I've tried restarting. It's about 44 degrees here. I started charging just after having driven a few miles and up a bit of a hill so it may be that, as the battery cooled the indicated/added range just compensated for the range lost by the battery temperature falling. I suppose that could explain it. I saw that the night before as well bumming a little charge from the timeshare.

This new app is quirky with data reporting on the energy tab, try switching views from Vehicle tab, or Service tab back to Energy, that usually triggers a data update.

Miles are not added, kWh are. The miles are a guess, like the GOM. If the temperature dropped from when you started charging, I could see the guesstimate showing no miles gained with just a few kWh added. I never bother looking at miles, only the kWh.

Judging by this I'd be inclined to say you those first 4 kwh to warm the battery and that it's not a bug. 44 is not freezing but it is only just above the ideal temperature to charge a lithium ion pack.

I wouldn't put much stock in that number either since some have had it show 200kWh+ added. Has it actually been confirmed that it's calculating what was actually added to the battery? The app always seems to show more than what I get using the difference in energy to empty in Car Scanner.
