Sometimes you need a lawyer and a class action lawsuit to get resolution.

Ford has had their share of screw-ups that they would not fix and took to the mat (court).

Just search: "ford class action lawsuit history" for a list and you'll see what I mean, alas.

It appears Ford has lots of unhappy customers for many issues ... it helps explain why fixing the HIS seems like a low priority item ... has anyone tried to take advantage of this customer retention program for HIS problems?

Err...so the translation:

"Our vehicles suck so bad we'll offer you a discount to buy another one."

It will be a cold day in hell before I buy another Ford.

That's probably a good move ... apparently Ford is killing off the existing F150 Lightning product line in a $19B write off on the EV business ... no wonder they've done next to nothing to fix the HIS ... it's not even a round off error in the bigger picture

Starting to think we need an open-source alternative.

We know the Inverter from Delta is fine. We know that the truck can do V2X on other chargers.

We need an alternative.

Yes, but I suspect we won't get squat. Class actions usually end up giving claimants a few bucks for a few beers, and that's it :/

it depends on your contract with the attorney. You can say no and litigate yourself. That's where we are heading.

Everyone demanding there be a class action lawsuit, go hire an attorney and do what you say. It's not going to happen by being mad on the Internet.

I know nobody will actually get off their ass and do it. Just saying, do it or stop pretending I guess.

I've been reading this thread since the day it started.
So you read how my attorney is in a dialogue with Ford, with no meaningful reconciliation and our next step is litigation, and yet, you state that you know no one will get off their ass and do it?

Good news just released. Ford is going into the battery storage business. Maybe their solution will solve the issues you and every other person that bought their first $10k product have had and it will work this time. 🤣😂

Not laughing at you. Laughing instead of crying.

To be fair, the FCSP seems to be the issue, not the Delta/Sunrun hardware. In other words, the cheapest component is the problem. This really should be open source as the community could likely resolve the problems.

oddly enough Ford won't warranty mine at all. I've asked separate times over the last few years. Each time i ask, the software update is coming. lol

I’m having an issue with the departure and charge times and the “software update is coming” line has been given to me for the last 6 months. I also asked if Ford will replace the FCSP with the newer Emporia EVSE unit and they said no because it still charges the truck (just not reliably🖕🏼)…..
