I need opinions. All opinions are welcome, even if they are wrong. My plate needs a fresh coat of adhesive, so ignore the marks on the plastic.

The rough one looks like the protective film used for my door sills.

I personally like the more subtle texture I get from my BIQU Cryogrip Glacier build plate, which to my eye, is between those 2, but a bit closer to the smoother one.

Yeah, I was looking at getting one, but the reviews are so mixed and the texture doesn't look uniform. I am going to snatch a supertack plate as soon as they make one for the H2D.

Smooth look better, but I suspect the one made with the textured plate will hide future scratches better.

Have you tried a carbon fiber build plate? I used one for the rotary shifter cover and it came out pretty nice.

Uncle Tony, Appreciate all you are doing in the forum. I have put in my request for the module and waiting to hear back on when I might get it. I have a 24 Flash and am getting the following codes when I connect the long USB to the Q4 harness, Cruise, one pedal, drive mode, A/C not working, and traffic alert. Hope the module will alleviate the codes and get my comma.ai working correctly. Looking forward to being a part of this great community.

I think the carbon fiber would be great. I am limited at the moment due to not having a ton of plates available for the H2D. I may look on amazon and see what I can find.

Hey, those all sound like reflection issues. Are they clearing once the comma fully boots?

I see you put in your reservation in recently and I haven't gotten to those yet. I just paid for the next batch, they are expected to take up to 6 weeks. They usually take less time, but this is by far the largest order I have placed so far.

I will update this thread and the discord once I get the shipping information from the PCB house.

Unless I am doing something wrong it is not just a reflection issue. The codes do not clear while the comma is up and running and without the ACC it will not connect with the vehicle.

Can you elaborate on your error condition? Are you getting an error on the comma? Are all the codes staying active?

The comma is giving me a cruise control error that flashes at the bottom of the comma screen and the codes are staying active. My first drive was for about 10 minutes with no change in the codes or the comma error

I would start with reseating your cable. If you are using the 12 foot OEM comma cable, make sure you are plugging it in all the way. They are good at making your think they are seated.
