Are the legacy models still best with 7.0/angle control or are there better options now?
I didn't like the liquid crystal or whatever the default model was.. it was pingponging alot.

I went back to WD40 and things seem waaaay better even by comparison to bp6.

I was happy with WD40 on 6, so I’ll try that first on 7.

Thanks!

The default for BP-7 on mine was CD210. I didn`t like how it handled curves. I went back to WD40.
It would be great for everyone to announce what works best for them, and what they are driving.

No lane offset in angle mode. It's not possible because path_angle is our primary control variable. Try to recalibrate or try a different model. No one else has complained about lane hugging on angle.
It’s centered when traveling in a straight line, but it rides the passenger lane dividers on a curve. Is there a parameter I can modify to bring it more towards the center of the line while in a curve? I took a video.

That means you are over steering. Watch the tuning video in the release announcement.

I am on BP7.0 also having problems hugging on angle. On some turns it runs the truck into the rumble strip. Wasn't an issue before the update. I'm using WD-40

BP7 was working great for a couple of days. Then, since yesterday, it crashes and won’t boot.

Here’s the stack trace:

I've found this happens if the comma has its power pulled while booting up. Requires a reinstall.

Hmmm, so if I turn my truck off before BP finishes booting, then the Comma will be soft-bricked?

Yea, it's definitely one of the arguments for installing the OBD power... i just be very careful about power cycling the car if she's not up yet.

Just started installing BP7.

Will report back with model but I'm going to start with Dark Souls v2 per AJz.

Others have stated WD40 whereas default is CD210.

(im repeating only to save people who only get to this post)

Double posting because I may have an issue on my c4

I factory reset & then installed via bit.ly/bp-70

My device restarted, connected to internet and started installing the second part (I didn't catch the name). The screen has been black for quite some time and it's been constantly connected to power.

Should I just power cycle?

I had this happen. I power cycled, flash/reset, installed open pilot, uninstalled open, then installed bp7. Not sure if that’s correct, but that’s what worked for me. In the blue pilot doc, it says in all caps to install open first before doing bp7. I wasn’t sure if flashing the camera got rid of open pilot or not.
