I tried popv2, over all is was OK. Did hug the line a little bit more but curves handled well. The only thing is I couldn't stand when coming out of a low speed sharp corner, the wheel would jerk back and forth a aggressively. I didn't notice this in cd210. I'll try out darksouls tomorrow. @Laphuks - I'm new to this but there is a huge improvement from 6 to 7

I guess I'll be lazy with documentation like comma. Apparently being proactive is taboo.
Being proactive isn't necessarily bad, but it did cause issues for me. I had just received my comma and was setting it up last week, followed the documentation and used the link for bp-70 and it kept failing to download. Fortunately I asked on the discord and got a reply pretty quickly telling me that the documentation had been updated early and 7.0 wasn't available yet.

I have a nice curvy road and a nice curvy highway. I have a 2024 Lightning flash everything stock.
Tires when warm pressure is 49lbs.
Using Pop V2 driving model. No other settings changed from stock install. My final settings using Aj`s lateral tuning video is High speed .95, Low speed 1.0.
This really surprised me. I thought I could just use Aj`s settings on the video. I was very wrong. Using the settings that worked for him sent me into the passenger side ditch on every slow speed curve.
Lesson learned. Every vehicle is different.
I went 15-25 mph on posted 20- 35 mph curves, and 75mph on the 70mph curves when making adjustments. It took a little over an hour total to dial in. I just kept going back through the same roads until the lines matched up well.
Thanks Aj for a great tutorial!

I switched form POP to Darksouls this morning. Is there a setting to reduce the in lane weave? Both were good on the curves. Dark hugged a little more right for me, but overall Ping ponged worse. my drive has a couple tight curves, then a couple calm curves, and then the rest of my drive is wide-laned straight highway, which is where it starts to wander inside the lane.

When you switched, did you also reset to where you needed to drive for a while? Also, it takes 20 minutes of driving before it saves the driving mode settings? "Aj Said something about this in a previous post .Anyway, I had erratic cornering and some ping-ponging only It was mild on straightaways but after I did what AJ said in the video for tuning it has drastically improved. Apparently each vehicle is different so if you don't do that I honestly don't know if you can get it to work how you wish.

Well, driving home today it was really bouncy. Then it started driving really nice and straight but on the center line. Then... The comma yelled at me to take control and the mount gave free from the adhesive. I believe I have a root cause!

I cleaned it up and put new tape on. Not sure why the plastic let free of the tape- Was scuffed and looked clean... Oh well, it's back on. Hopefully by the end of the week I can try a good trip with Dark Souls

The dashcam is decent, but the software isn't really refined to be used for that. There is a management site you can visit and click through the segments until you find what you are looking for, but don't expect it to log hard braking or collisions or anything.
Not seeing a ton of dashcam discussion and found this from search. I am taking down a nice Vantrue to put up my new Comma4 and want to make sure I retain the ability to download a clip after an event or drive.

I have installed BluePilot and linked to Sunnylink, but it seems there isn't a dashcam footage portion to Sunnylink unless you are a high tier sponsor. From my research it looks like Comma gives 3 days for free?

Do I need to unlink with Sunnylink and link to Comma Connect? Does anyone use theirs as a dashcam and if so, are you downloading the footage via SSH after you get back home or are you uploading somewhere. I also see that Konik.ai seems like an option. Any links or can people point me in the right direction? Thanks.

You would just pull it from comma connect. You leave it connected to sunnylink, they are separate services.

In regards to downloading, I don't have any good suggestions due to inexperience with using it that particular way. I'm sure you could use SSH to get them off the device itself.

Connect.comma.ai. if you're on the internet it'll upload automatically unless you select konik. I think they hold it for 3 days w/o prime - can someone confirm?

It keeps it for longer than 3 days unless they changed it. I have gone back and pulled older (like 2 weeks) routes before. But you can also preserve them if you have a route you want to save for whatever reason.

in addition to connect.comma.aI, the BluePilot software has a built in web server you can access on your local LAN for faster downloads of the high res video.

This sounds like the way I would go. Any info on how to access the web server?

Would be great if there was an API or webhooks so that I could automate pulling video clips via Home Assistant or something (I say as I know I would rely heavily on AI to determine how to do that).
