Where do u disable BP7 long control. Thanks
For Bluepilot 7 in the Comma 4, you disable BP Long control under the Sunnylink 'vehicle' menu. About half way down you select 'Bypass BP Longitudinal Control' I also select the next box down 'Disable Downhill Compensation' even though it is supposed to be automatic.

In sunnylink (menu --> Settings Name --> Value):

Developer --> sunnypilot Longitudinal Control(Alpha): This settings decides if Ford or Comma controls the gas and brake. If this is off, none of the other settings do anything.

Cruise --> Experimental Mode: This turns on stop signs, red lights, and automatic speed adjustments

Cruise --> Dynamic Experimental Control: This will attempt to fix experimental mode driving like a grandma or randomly speeding up and slowing down.

Vehicle --> [Longitudinal Tuning] Bypass BP Longitudinal Control: This will bypass the custom bluepilot long control which has logic to help make the cruise control less binary. It will put you on stock openpilot long control logic.

Vehicle --> [Longitudinal Tuning] Disable Downhill Compensation: Disables the comma logic for downhill compensation, because most ford vehicles have it built in. If you don't disable it you double dip on the dowhill comp and get a very aggressive brake actuation when going downhill. This does nothing if Bypass BP Longitudinal Control is activated.

That requires that you use comma for longitudinal control though, doesn't it? other than the speed limit recognition, do you find it to be on par with the ford ACC?
No, it's not comma long control. I verified this morning - finally hooked up the comma to power. The setting is under cruise/speed limit settings/speed limit mode - set it to assist. I'm running it in car state priority

Dark Souls v2 was giving me too much lane hug even after tuning.

I tuned lateral then reset calibration and loaded default (cd210). Right off the rip, it already feels better than DSv2

Will report back after the steering delay tuning.

I only ask because I swore I did for a little bit and for some reason it didnt save or switched back on me. :)
I've had that too - not sure if i made too many changes too fast, or wasn't patient enough for them to write.

My experience with sunnylink has been poor, not because of sunnylink itself, but because of it's reliance on a cloud connection. When I had our C4 for testing, I would always take it inside in the AC and on good wife, hold the device with two hands like a little cell phone, and make all my bluepilot changes directly on the screen.

It either didn't seem this bad before, or I wasn't changing certain things via sunnylink but I have def learned that on-device is far more reliable.

they changed Sunnylink to no longer have the “push to device“ button, now it is supposed to be automatic.

I tethered C4 to my phone to change to CD210 and it was a pain. Sunnylink was VERY flaky versus previous.

I did not have any issues when changing models at my desk in stable wifi though.
