-interesting that only about 20+% of the orders listed here have a production date so far...not very encouraging. Is Ford really restricted on some basic components like 360 camera system?

I see approximately on your orders spreadsheet:
wave #1 Jan 6-19, 34 production dates of 115 ordered or 29.5%
wave #2 Jan 20-Feb 2, 27 production dates of 78 ordered or 34.6%
wave #3 Feb 3-16, 13 production dates of 82 ordered or 15.9%
wave #4 Feb 17-Mar 2, 1 production date of 16 ordered or 6.25%
wave #5 Mar 3-16?, 0 production dates of 6 ordered or 0.0%

So, overall about 75 production dates received of 297 ordered or 25% starting production by May, 2022 reported on the ordered spreadsheet.

If this is representative of say 10,000 retail units, and only 2500 have production dates thru May 2022, do you think there will also be 2500 produced per month for June, July, August to make up a full 10,000 retail 2022 units? Maybe another 5000 units also made March-May & beyond for dealer demos? 15,000 total 2022 Lightnings?

edit 4-1: Long MacArthur recent vid said only 1300 Mach-e's produced in a month. I wonder if Lightnings will be at same rate for a while. Could Ford aim to not reach their production limit on $7500 rebate for EV's too quickly, so that they can have a final big quarter when lines are ready to push a lot of vehicles through without any parts constraints?

So not sure what rate the factory should be able to push for Lightnings.

Don't forget to add in 2500+ Mannequins. Ten weeks of productions March 14 - May 30. But Mannequins and Customer Trucks may be produced out of sequence VINs. Very hard to project.

We can be hopeful that the delay in Lightning scheduling is due to a change in Ford’s scheduling model and not actually a delay in June production.

F-150 ICE scheduling has only been announced a few weeks out and June scheduling has yet to be announced. Maybe Lightning June scheduling dates will follow suit.
