Yes, good to go. Just remember:So we are good to go forward with IPMA? I’m gonna buy mongoose today then.
This is what I was waiting for as well. Many thanks to the community at large here. If I could send you some BTC as a 'thank you' I would. So we are good to go forward with IPMA? I’m gonna buy mongoose today then.
I last updated my truck with FDRS back in mid December to get BC 1.4 and did the FORScan settings as well. Have not got a new 48 hr license since then. Anyone seeing anything good or a reason to set it back up once all this dang snow melts?
The PSA’s just keep coming!-???Yes, good to go. Just remember:

We can do it in the snow tomorrow! So reading the ICE forum it appears the brokeness may be due to seatbelts not being buckled? Maybe a new requirement Ford added to this module update?
If so, are we clear to update IPMA again? (I don’t have a cable but was considering borrowing one).
Are there further risks with Forscan?Yes, FDRS alone won't activate it.
Depends on who you ask. Many people are scared of FORScan (and rightfully so). However, this is easy. Just a few config changes. As long as you back up the congif for the two modules you'd be making changes to first or at the very least document what is there before you change it in case you need to go back, you'll be fine. Are there further risks with Forscan?
yeah i did it in my 2011. i'm not sure why i'm so hesitant. i guess because the truck is supposed to be updated regularly by ford but if i'm doing them myself i guess who the hell cares.Depends on who you ask. I've never done any Forscan mods before, so while I know my way around computers, it was all new to me and I managed just fine. Are there further risks with Forscan?
Same experience as me. Note that you do “have” BC 1.4. While you haven’t enabled the new toggles for lane change functionality (which IMO is more a gimmick), you do benefit from improved functionality and should experience fewer dropouts and smoother behavior.Hello folks. Been watching all this for a while.
I got a Mongoose and FDRS license for the first time yesterday and ran through the process to apply all the outstanding updates to my 2023 Lariat.
I didn't have any problems; all the updates I ran seem to have gone through their process successfully. No DTCs prior, and no DTCs now afterwards. However:
I applied the IPMA update before the PSCM update, which applied successfully and then immediately moved on and applied the PSCM in sequence, also apparently successfully. The PSCM update was not removed from the list of pending updates though, even after a clear-and-retest and a close/reopen of FDRS. So, I applied the update to the PSCM directly, with the same result.
- ACM update was apparently successful, but didn’t clear (as previously reported)
- Another module whose name escapes me (Remote Function? Bluetooth Low Energy?) applied successfully, but didn't clear (as I believe has been previously reported)
As a follow-on I tried running the "IPMA- Image Processing Module A (IPMA) Configuration" process as described by @Mike G in #4,096, but no change—PSCM still shows in the pending updates list.
I went for a drive last night and everything seems fine with the truck; no dashboard warning lights, cameras all work and are in the correct dimensions, BlueCruise is working (though apparently in whatever pre-1.4 state I was in before).
I think this aligns with at least some other folks here who have not been able to get the PSCM update to clear, but consider me another data point. If I've missed a step or there's something else I can try before midnight tonight, happy to try and get that done. Otherwise I'll likely let this ride for a bit and see if these changes shake any OTAs loose.
Thanks all for your ongoing insights! This is a great community.
