Still the same download. See the picture. It’s not an exe. What is it?
That link works for me.

Try right-clicking on the link and "save as"?

The unconfirmed is when the download in browser is not completing....look at the top right and look for a notice asking you to "keep" file.

Yeah, the browser security prompts for downloads...I get it, but my elder parents have a tough time with them.

Thank you! That worked. This is why I hate windows. So unintuitive. Now my next stupid windows question. How do I keep both the beta and regular versions for forscan? When I install the beta it replaces the regular version. So I renamed the beta then re installed regular and it still replaces the beta.

2101 is due to the lower portion seatbelt config. You can load a complete 24 IPC as build file and write it.. it will clear the 2101..

here is an as build you can use

2024_IPC.ab
Is this file for a 24 lariat with max tow? Or does it not matter? I have a lariat with max tow so want to make sure I don’t fuck anything up. lol.

I believe there are some subtle differences depending on your config. I got a trailer module dtc with either that one or another one so searched the dealers for an extended range with trailer brake and there weren't quite as many differences. I ended up just restoring my 23 backup over the 24 to keep from making a billion changes but you want to note of the values for 720-13-01/02 and 720-14-01 from the 24 and keep those the same or you will get an IPC code. Top row was the 24ab and the bottom was what my 23 had. Seems these are related to the seat belt nannies. Apparently you can change them after the fact though as mine are currently showing all 0's after following the manual procedure to disable the chimes. Either that or it didn't update those to the mother ship.

I have max tow as well. Nothing related to that in the IPC portion that I saw. I used that 115kb file yesterday.

When you go to upload/upgrade the IPC module, follow the boxes exactly as you see in the "Custom File Selection.png" picture.

After 4-6 hours (service procedure done), load all the 2024_ipc.ab file, do not write all just yet.

Edit your glare free and seat belt chime changes back to what you had before the upgrade (if you had these).

Then write all.

Check for any DTCs.

As @PJnc284 says, you can restore the 2023 too, I only had 4 settings to change so just edited before the write all.

Ok so I’m ready with everything. Charger etc. I’m at this screen. Nobody that I have found has shown screen shots of how I tell forscan beta to upload the IPC firmware. As in where do I click to point it to the file I have?

There’s a screenshot in the files you downloaded. You have to choose custom on that screen.

Well all is well! Thanks to those who helped. Took took 5hrs 10min for the IPC. I had an extra battery hooked up with a 60amp charger that was almost full blast the entire time. I loaded the 24 as built and then just quickly did the changes for seat belt ped sounder and glare free. Seems to be working as it should. I’ll be going out shortly and will try BC to see how those animations might have changed. Interesting. Ford pass is showing 4.1kw while the dash reports 4.8kw. 🤔
