I typically plug in when I get home in the evening and unplug in the morning. I've been under the weather the last couple of days and have not left the house. Consequently my truck has been plugged in non-stop for longer than it normally would be. I noticed something in Ford Pass that doesn't make sense to me. I took a couple of screenshots on my phone hoping maybe someone can explain. In the left image you can see the Energy Added is 159.7kWh. If I'm not mistaken that's about 28kWh MORE than my batteries can hold. Where did that extra energy go? The screenshot on the right is about 9 hours later. Still 85% Charge, still 260 mile range (I wish!), same 147 mi Distance Added but now the Energy Added is at 236.4kWh. That's 76kWh more than 9 hours earlier, almost double what the batteries can hold and I'm NOT charging. What am I missing here? Obviously I don't understand what "Energy Added" means or something is very wrong. Anybody else seen this or have any idea what's going on?

I'll second that assessment. FordPass is very buggy on reporting energy with the FCSP. I just purchased the Emporia Vue3 to install on my panel and picked up an extra "mains" sensor to slap on the FCSP circuit. Lots of rain coming our way from the pacific hurricane so install will have to wait till next week. (my panel is on the exterior)

I gave up on the Ford Charge Station Pro (can’t even connect the app to it now). I moved it outside for visitors and installed an Emporia Pro in its place. However, I’m still struggling to get the Emporia to work properly with excess solar. I haven’t had time to train the energy monitor to behave properly.

You didn't use that much and your truck charged as normal. The bug is with fordpass and how it calculates kwh over time. It just keeps logging kwh even though the session has stopped. Hopefully we'll get a new version of fordpass soon with some fixes.

I have also noticed inconsistency even within the FordPass app. The data shown in the FP screen under the "Energy" tab at the bottom of the FP screen upon completion of charging is sometimes significantly different from what is shown under the FP Energy > Advanced > Charge History screen upon completion of charging ... for the same charge session.

Others have properly explained the problem, but I'm curious if you are using an FCSP?

If you are and it's paired to your network and FP account, you can get very accurate energy records from [ENERGY, ADVANCED, CHARGE STATION, INSIGHTS], those values are w/i 99% accuracy of my Emporia Vue2 energy monitor on the feed circuit.

Yes, I am using an FCSP. As someone mentioned earlier, possibly on another thread, once I disconnected the charger, the correct energy (~65kWh) was reported in the charging history.

And you are correct. The Charge Station Insight section of the app is correctly and accurately reporting the energy. I never think to look there but will from now on. Thanks for the pointer.
