It's crazy how update 6.0 is really just a reused skin of 5.0.

Any other stove very much prefer how 5.0 looked

It looks like you have no charging locations saved. Once a location is saved you can adjust the percentage for each location
I always charge at home. The app slider was there and worked great until two days ago.

If you aren’t careful with finger placement, easy to unknowingly change the charge level. I kicked it up to 85% three times, only to discover it the next day. Turns out that if I hold my phone in my right hand, my right thumb perfectly placed to move that slider… inadvertently.

No dice. This is all I see.

Did you disable location sharing or any other privacy things on the truck itself? During the days of the older app, I turned something off in the settings screen of the truck itself and lost the same data you're missing. I'm exhausted so can't remember the exact name of the setting, though...

I turned "share driving data" off because I don't want LexisNexis sending my info to my insurance company. ALL other settings are still on. Vehicle analytics, vehicle location, etc. are all on.

It's frustrating, because now the only way I can set a charge target is through the 15" screen inside the truck.

Tap the lightning bolt icon? to change to the charging screen where the slider is located. If that doesn't work, clear cache and data from the app, then uninstall it, reinstall and carry on.

I finally got the update. I agree that this update is terrible. The app was pretty good before this but now it's awful.
I agree, as a current Tesla owner and a Lightning owner the difference and the effectiveness of the Ford app pales in comparison with Tesla's. I wish it were half as good.

Not sure why some people can’t change it from 90% to 100% but mine is showing I can.

It won't share with insurance unless you are able to slide the greyed out switch that directly mentions insurance.

Just for testing purposes, can you turn that last setting one on to see if the missing energy screen functions come back? Mine came back pretty immediately, less than 5 minutes IIRC. Then you can turn it back off if you still think it's your best move, but at least you know what the issue is.

Bottom line is no functionality should be predicated on sharing with a third party. Ever. If this is actually a required bundling in the @Ford Motor Company ecosystem, they've guaranteed this will be the first and last of their product I ever buy.

I will try it. I have no idea what my driving habits should have to do with seeing charge target in my app, but I will try it.

I agree, it's frustrating that Ford really tries to push people toward sharing this personal data.

The reason I turned it off is because I got notice last week that Progressive is doing a "rate revision" on my policy and starting next month my premium is going up $477/annually. When I started digging to find out why, I saw that Progressive uses LexisNexis reporting. I have it printed in black and white. So I've decided I'm turning off every privacy setting I can get away with in both the app and the truck.

That was it. I toggled the setting for sharing driving data back on and then my charging target scale reappeared in the app. That's complete bull crap. Why in the world would those two things be related? This is very frustrating.
