@Ford Motor Company I am frustrated this update is not getting pushed to 22 and 23 models.

My problem with the Ford Nav system has nothing to do with the chargers; my problem with the Ford Nav system is that the navigation sucks. Compare it with Waze, Apple Maps, Google Maps and other CarPlay apps and Ford Nav pales in comparison.I have to say, the latest update that added the Tesla chargers as well as allowing you to set your preferred charging stations has made a huge difference for me. I honestly can’t see a reason to use any other navigation app. Does anyone else feel the same about the update?

It's cheaper for me to pay the monthly fee to Tesla app because I only roadtrip maybe once or twice a yearI have to say, the latest update that added the Tesla chargers as well as allowing you to set your preferred charging stations has made a huge difference for me. It's not much of an impact, but shifting the number of degrees cooler or warmer depending on the season ensures the DCFC session is at peak output and suffers less of a chance of derating, more noticeable in the hot season.Pre-condition question: If you are on a long Hwy trip, the truck maintains battery and motor temps while you drive (shows in the Trip Energy features) so what does pre-conditioning give you that the truck is not already doing to assist with your next charging stop? ie as @GDN noted?
Thanks TMH - that makes perfect sense. Not a lot of "Hot" season around here, compared with the alternative, LOL.It's not much of an impact, but shifting the number of degrees cooler or warmer depending on the season ensures the DCFC session is at peak output and suffers less of a chance of derating, more noticeable in the hot season.
Yup, considering the brutal cold, if you were to set out on a long trip but had not used departure conditioning (plugged in to level 2) where the battery would get to best performance, then you would be driving on a cold battery, once you hit the first DCFC session, and have not used any enroute conditioning, you might be sitting a little longer until the battery is warmed to safe minimum temperature for fast charging. Thanks TMH - that makes perfect sense.
