My FordPass app is no longer monitoring my charging status, updating ev driving log, or charge logs. This seems to align to my connected services/ Ford streaming trial ending. I didn’t see anything that said these features required Ford Connected Services.

Anyone seeing this issue or can help explain to new user?

Yup, pull footwell fuse 32 for 2 minutes or disconnect 12v battery for 2 minutes. The modem is frozen and needs to be reset. Very common and annoying problem.

Don’t bother because it will only become frozen again. Pulling fuses and disconnecting batteries is not without risk for the unfamiliar.

Lots of posts on this topic on both Lightning forums. A Feb OTA was supposed to be pushed to affected vehicles, but now the target is June for a fix. There is currently a TSB 23-2050 that might fix the problem, but requires a dealership visit. Owners that have received it have experienced mixed success, with some even experiencing new problems. Software should be handled by software companies. I am looking forward to Apples next iteration of CarPlay when they finally take over the cockpit. Until then only Tesla and EVs that use the Google OS have true OTA capabilities.

Pulling fuses and disconnecting batteries is not without risk for the unfamiliar.
IMO, pulling, checking and replacing fuses should be a skill learned by every car owner. It's easy and can get you out of a bind.

Playing with 12v batteries is a little more technical but is very simple, anyone with basic mechanical skills can do it.

If you're worried about your capabilities, take it to any garage, they can do it.

Is that skill necessary for Tesla owners? Next up the shift to 48V and changing the conventional assembly line process.

One thing I would like to point out for both model year 2022 & 2023 owners, Ford Pass occasionally grays-out the START control button on the home screen. It happens infrequently, but it's easy to resolve.

Here is a snapshot of the button before the fix

To remedy this condition, go into the device app controls, on ANDROID, you select/hold your finger on the desktop icon until a context box appears, then select the i in a circle icon for [information] .

See the FORCE STOP button, hit it and confirm the action.

Now launch the app again, you will see the START button is no longer gray.
