Forums Stability/Uptime?

Hey all,

Throughout the last couple of weeks, I have experienced intermittent access to the forums. Typically, it happens when I'm going between threads, lose access and then the site is unreachable for a few minutes.

When I click back on the site later, usually all good. Originally, when I was checking for access (when it went unreachable), I also saw issues with Gen14 forums...but as of late, it has been this site only. A couple of times, while mobile, I turned off wifi and still had issues while on cellular, so this make me think it is not me.

Has anyone else experienced connection issues? Is anyone in the mod/admin areas able to confirm uptime challenges?

I have the same experience as you. Typically just a few minutes.

Here and the Mach-E forum, yes. Usually in the morning.

Earlier today this site, 14thGen, and Mach-E were down for at least an hour for me.

Several hours for me.

This weekend is a popular period of time for systems administrators to do mid-year maintenance.

IRS.GOV, TSP.GOV and other federal systems USPS.COM were down or neutered this morning.

Looks like the IRS is going into OT on the maintenance tasks, I know the master files get major updates last weekend of June every year, then again New Years eve to prepare for the new tax year filings.

Seems it's been another rough day keeping things running here. It's not always all of the forums this company owns, but sometimes it is. Don't know if outside hackers are hitting them or upgrades gone bad or a new hire, but it's been pretty rough for a few weeks now.

The forum has been intermittent on a daily basis, lately it's been happening mid day early evening[EDT] as well.

I've started to notice a tie-in to playing users personal uploaded videos (not external YouTube links). At certain times, when I click on a video, it plays for about 1-3 seconds then communications with the forums stall. I then hit refresh or click on main forums link and site is unresponsive.

I haven't noticed a connection to a video, but have had more errors today. Seems to affect more than just this forum, it will hit the Mach E and ICE forum too. Generally get the "Oops, can't load this page".

Yikes - we knew there were problems and had seen them coming, but never expected they would let it get so bad they would lose a full weekend. Some activity picked up on the opposing Lightning Forum from members here.

yeah, I was a little worried but noticed on a reddit forum someone chimed in about the mach e forum also glad were up and running again!

The ICE forum and MachE forum are still not back up. I don't know how many forums in all this group runs, but it seems quite a few.
