Found Frunk Open this AM

Woke up this morning and found the frunk wide open in my driveway. My fobs are at our cabin and I don't have a FOB at this house. I am using my iphone as a key.

Does anyone have any idea what could have caused the frunk to open?

Security camera shows we pulled other car into the garage at 6:26PM and the Fronk was closed. No other motion detected overnight. Motion lights were not activated so no one approached the truck between 6:30 p when the fronk was closed and this morning when it was found open.

Only reasonable explanation was for some reason when my iphone was within Bluetooth range I accidentally held the fronk open "button" on my iphone. That is unlikely since I didn't go outside after 6:26 pm. Perhaps when I removed the iphone after parking the Tesla in the garage I held the "button".

Still it's a mystery.

This happened to me about a month ago although it was just slightly open. But there was no way that I initiated it from the fob or app. I went back and reviewed my camera and checked recorded motion events a few hours after getting home from work. It was latched in one, and unlatched in the next one. I'm guessing it's just a random bug, but it definitely makes me not want to keep anything valuable in there now. I asked my dealer about it when it was in for another issue and they didn't have anything helpful to say about it. Hopefully a future software update fixes it.

I've had some good folks scan my VIN in FDRS and from Day 1 (Nov '22) my truck has had a pending update for the FHCM (Front Hatch Control Module). I often wondered what it was changing. No idea if it would fix the issue you experienced. Hasn't happened to me.

What is your Wifi Access Point brand? Do you have more than 1 Wifi booster?
Was your revolving WiFi camera stuck at a certain position?
What brand of cordless phone are you still using?
What type of Wifi card do you have in your laptop?
Do you still have a TV antenna on your house?
Do you have kids playing with Walkie Talkies?
What type of Pager do you use?
What type of baby monitor are you using?
What appliances do you have connected via WiFI?
Was your Wifi smoke detector malfunctioning?
Did someone enter the wrong code on your door lock around that time?
Did you unlock your home front or garage door via Wifi around that time?
Were you texting around that time and were you speaking the text or entering it?
What temperature did you ask your Wifi thermostat to be set to?
Was your phone paired to an Apple or Google watch, and if it is energy-saving, does it automatically turn on when you flick your wrist?
What did you say to your google nest mini or hub around that time?
If you do not have any of these devices, please check with your neighbors and ask them if they used them within 50 feet of your awesome Ford Lightning .
