For the last few weeks my 23 ER lightning with 123,000 miles on it is stopping charging at 85%. I have the settings in the app and the truck set properly and have tried adjusting the charge limits to see if it makes a difference. But no matter what I set it to the app will tell me it’s charged to 100% but the truck stops charging at 85%. Has anyone had this issue or knkw of any solutions?

Your screen capture shows charged to 100%, where are you seeing 85%, and do you have a target charge location for home and if so, what is the target charge?

This was happening to me awhile ago, it was a bad battery module. Take it to the dealer and they can diagnose and replace on warranty.

EDIT: Another issue when this happens is that it charges very slowly once it reaches a few percent from the max (usually 100%, but in your case 85%), so if you see very slow charging as it approaches 85% it's most likely a bad module.

Since your out of warranty, lets think about something else ... I assume your app shows 100% but you get in the truck and the screen shows 85%, is this correct?

First off, 123,000 miles on a '23? That is impressive.

Sorry to hear about the charging hiccup though. That disconnect between the app saying 100% and the truck stopping at 85% is frustrating, especially since you have already done the troubleshooting on the settings side.

I want to get this in front of the team to look into, particularly with that kind of mileage on the odometer. It could be helpful data for us to understand what is happening with the battery management system here.
