Charging at home not stopping at 80%

I read a ton of posts about this issue prior to getting my truck, and I thought I had it figured out. Was working initially. Have the truck set to 80% at home. Have the app set to 80% at home. Have the home address set. Truck SHOWS it’s at home, so it’s not confused…and yet app says charging to 100%!

What am I Missing? See photos.

Thank you! That must have reverted during one of my 12v “resets.”
I’ll change that 1 setting and then give it another go. Seems like there are unnecessary layers of complexity between truck and app settings to get this done!

In addition, at times FordPass won't take the settings. And sometimes, the settings (like for a departure time) get erased with no explanation.

This person has it right! And it seems like every software update throws a new wrench in the charge settings. May have to “reset” you location and setting individuality in the truck and app.

Does anyone consistently use and set different charge levels for different locations? I really wish Ford would simplify this. I understand the concept, but I just don't think it is worth the frustration for the few that might set different levels for different locations.

MIne charges at home to 100% every time as I want, but at public DCFC, it stops at 90% everytime.

Has been this way since day 1 even with all the software updates...

I had this problem but after I got the big wall charger installed, no more trouble. So I am wondering why the truck chargeport and the charger head have the additional contacts below the J722 or whatever it is called. Because public chargers that don’t have this additional part and they work just fine.

That's the pins for CCS charging. For the 80amp Ford charger, it uses that for bi-directional.

How do you eliminate the selected charging times so that Ford supplied charger begins charging whenever it is plugged in. I can’t find that option on the application or in the truck

Select "Anytime" under "Set my own time"

Click Delete Locations to remove the profile.

In the Sync screen, you can delete it as well, (truck needs to be in accessory or run mode)
