Yeah, this is a massive step backwardsInteresting. So T3 is canceled, too.
So this means Ford is completely getting out of the EV full-size pickup game for a while.
And an EREV means maintenance, right?

Agreed, this is a massive step in the wrong direction.I didn't buy the Lightning to have my next truck be a step backwards.. this is silly and reactive. Shame on the United States for this crap.
You're asking a lot from the company that after 4 years can't keep remote start on if you open the frunk or having more than a 30 min remote start limitI'm bummed, but honestly the writing was on the wall for a while. I still love my truck and I am planning to drive it for as long as I can. My only wishful replacement was a Expedition sized EV, but doesn't seem like that will happen either.
One final thing I would love for @Ford Motor Company to do is merge all of the model years software such that it doesn't matter if you have a 22-25, we all have the same features. It just makes sense from a long-term support perspective and gives us original owners a bit of goodwill even after you exit the market.
I'm thrilled to hear about the addition of an EREV but sad that Ford will no longer made a BEV Lightning.Awesome news!
