Neat concept but until I can get myself up to the cottage or camp trip and back on a single charge, I'll pass. The thought of having to pull off my route (who knows how far off) and sit and wait while it charges up (for who knows how long) is a deal breaker for all these electric vehicles. Until the technology advances and we can start seeing more practical mileages (and in cold climates like here in Ontario), these EV vehicles just don't appeal to me. I do think it looks pretty cool though. Lots of use of the word "projected" makes me a bit apprehensive as well....

I agree that the powerboost right now is the better truck all around, especially for extended towing and cross country trips with the family. Still waiting on my PB platty though…hoping it gets here at least before spring 2022 ?

I thought maybe if the specs were amazing and I couldn't help it I would put the hundred bucks down and get one if this current order kept dragging out... but I'm not that impressed. Too new for me. And only 230 or 300 mile range....Lol... Even before you put people, cargo in it or God forbid a trailer behind it?
What needs to happen is a real gas hybrid with a bigger electric motor giving better fuel economy even than the power boost.

Most of the specs are pretty dreamy and I will be really happy with it as my first electric vehicle.

I just don't like the monobrow/LED eyeliner wrap around thing. I, and probably others, will probably put vinyl graphics over it... I'm thinking a cutout job that blocks all but realistic lightning graphics.

I’ve been thinking that I should have gotten the PB and was thinking maybe I could just jump to the EV… 300 mile range doesn’t come close to cutting it. My truck is mostly for road trips - all longer than 300 miles. Now I definitely wish I had gotten the PB, but still love my EB!

The range will be the biggest reason this truck does poorly in comparison to the cybertruck. Ford blew it with the range.
