Rotary Shifter Part Numbers

I ordered a second version from the original supplier of these Manion Makes after he introduced a "finless" version of the binnacle, which I much prefer.

Taking inspiration from the OP, I hit mine with a few coats of sandable primer, then matte black paint, then matte clear with plenty of sanding along the way. This looks closer to factory than my first attempt using a satin clear to finish, which was much too glossy.

I wanted it to turn out nice and not look rough and unfinished. I am no painter by any means but I took my time and I'm pretty happy with the result.

Looks really good! Probably going to try this myself.

I went with the @PolymerBuilt version referenced above, but I agree, yours looks nice.

Seems most of the others were starting with P, and I haven't been able to pin down what exact trim it would be from to search for it. If I can't find it I guess I will get one without the motor since it is like $60-80 vs trying to get the new one that has the motor ($230ish).

I'm not sure about being the only one, however my research had it narrowed down to 2021-2024 Bronco Sport w/o paddle shifter.

The Mach-e shifters have been flagged here as having issues if installed in the Lightning. Your best bet will be from an Escape of the 2021-2023 time frame.

I have an Escape shifter LX6P-7P155-ED that has worked flawlessly for 6 months until last night.

I am getting DTC U0103 code in the Secondary OBD Control Module B and

in the Gear Shift Module (GSM) I am getting

===GSM DTC U0100:87-AF===
Code: U0100 - Lost Communication With ECM/PCM A

Additional Fault Symptom 87):
- Missing Message

Status (-AF):
- DTC Present at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is On for this DTC

Module: Gear Shift Module

===END GSM DTC U0100:87-AF===

Clearing the DTC with Forscan doesn't fix the issue, the DTCs come right back.

Any ideas? I am confident it's an OEM Ford shifter:

It's not like rotary shifter are immune to issues, and if they're bought used I'm sure it's even sketchier - doubt Ford specifically prints "replaced if dropped" on 'em for fun.

So there should NOT be any DTC's with a suitable replacement ?

Do you have to tell the truck you've changed the part ? VIA FDRS maybe ?
