Slippery Mode Makes The Lightning Safer in Snow

I suppose it depends on the specific area you drive in. For me, here on these windy, hilly, dangerous one lane rural roads, I'm extremely thankful for Slippery Mode!

I can't see it being much more than software tweaks to get it on the older trucks. I wouldn't think there would be that much difference in hardware. Then again, 2009 and 2010 are the only years compatible electronically in the 09-14 generation as an example. They changed all of it in 2011 not forward or backward compatible at all where the power train electrical is concerned.

I'll likely never get to use it on my truck, we had a freak snow storm dec last year but other than that, maybe once every 10-15 years or so and it's usually a dusting.

I drive in normal 2pd mode when it's slippery.

The truck handles the snow really well.

I actually went back to 1PD. I hate the coasting and the truck moving without me hitting the gas at a stop light.
