To the fellow community, wondering if anyone else has experienced water intrusion inside of the frunk lights. If so what's the best way to remove the water and keep this from happening?

I have never left the frunk open while raining nor placed water inside of the frunk area. I do get the truck washed weekly and hoping water is not getting in from the outside during a car wash?

On the flipside my truck only has 13k miles so wondering if I should just take it to the dealer to cover under the warranty? Also note this is only happened to one of the 2 lights.

Pictures below show with light off other light is on. As

I’d just inform the dealer & have them take care of it under warranty. Would definitely be interested to know where that water is coming from.

I've had water in them in the past and now there's not water in them. Seems self-correcting, at least in my case. I wash my truck regularly and it lives outside in Michigan.

I had this issue with condensation. Took it to the dealer and replaced under warranty - no questions asked.

Did they happen to say where the water/ condensation was coming from?

Not that I remember. It’s been a year, but I can ask when I drop my truck off for warranty work on Thursday.
If it were mine, being a light inside the frunk, and if I felt it was condensation only, I'd drill a 1/16 inch weep hole in it to let it breathe.

There's a few threads on this if you search. Bad seal on the lights, I had mine replaced. Make sure they check the frunk switch also, because that same water that gets in the lights can corrode the frunk switch if it's not draining out.

:( guess I’m gonna hold off on switching the front emblem to one that illuminates :/
My passenger side looks normal. But the driver side definitely has water in it.

Has anyone had this issue resolved by the dealer? Wanted to see before I reach out to mine to see if there’s anything else I should have them check to see could be damaged/ corroded as a result?

I had mine fixed over 2 years ago and the problem has not reappeared (knock on wood). The water that was leaking in also corroded my switch for the Frunk, so you may want to have them check that out.

Update-

The dealer said they had never seen water in these frunk lights and since this was a warranty issue they had to submit pictures to Ford. Unfortunately it takes Ford a few hours to reply so the truck sat for a day. Luckily Ford gave the dealer the green light to fix, but they did not have any on hand. They had to order from out of state and expect it to arrive in 3-4 days. They did not take anything apart yet and I will bring the truck back once it's shipped in.

Some good news I had intermittent blue screen of death about 90% of the time when trying to use my rear bed cam. I assumed it was a software issue. However the dealer checked it out and replaced completely under warranty. ( They already had this part on hand). When I asked what happened they said the soldering on the wiring had melted.
