Only stuff I got for the truck were some plug adapters. We stayed at a house over the 4th holiday weekend that had a 30 amp TT outlet, but I didn't have an adapter for it. So I picked out a few different adapters for different 30 and 50 amp outlet styles.

Now I need to find a portable charger that allows you to adjust amperage and doesn't break the bank. The Lightning Charger worked well for us, but if I read it right on here it's still a 30 amp charger, and on a 30 amp outlet that can be a bit dangerous. Unless it's actually 24 amps.

If it's a 120V 30A outlet you'll be disappointed. The Lightning will only charge at 12 amps on 120 volts no matter what EVSE you use.

Plug adapters could be useful though. 12 amps is better than nothing in a pinch.

Getting off topic but I went with the Tesla UMC because of the variety of adapters available. Of course I wouldn't recommend Tesla anything now, but the product is fine.

Ah yeah, I knew most TTs are 120V and that the outlet is a TT-30, but I wasn't putting those things together that I would likely still be limited to 12 Amps anyway as you said. Ah well, good to have the adapter in case that's the only outlet in an ideal location.

Good to know about the Tesla UMC. I think I see them being sold on places like Facebook Marketplace and eBay. I have the Tesla to J1172 adapter so that may be a decent option if I find one for sale used for cheap enough. No real harm in buying used Tesla stuff. :D

Just picked up a 25 Flash with ppob and the charge amperage is adjustable via app and on screen, perhaps Ford will push an update for older models.

Yeah, it’s available on our Mach-e as well. Likely coming at some point.

I haven’t been paying attention.. what happened to Tesla products?

Some may not want to support them. I went with the UMC as well one year ago and use it as my primary charger with the 14-50 adapter. It’s been great but if I needed a charger today I’d look elsewhere too.

BuiltRight's rear bench release was 20% off, had on my wishlist for a while. Turns out there's more space behind the seat than I thought.

I bought one as well but returned it today. No matter what I did I couldn't get the seat to relatch once it was installed. Removed it, and got the seat to latch with no issues.

It's a nice idea, but it's really easy to unlatch it once you know where the knobby bit is.

You have to trim the rubber stop a tad with a blade. I had the same issue.

I saw in one of their videos that an option was to heat that piece up and then close it, when it cooled it would be in the right "form".

I didn't think I should have to (or want to) mess with something that I just bought and expected to work.

I wasn't pleased when it wasn't working then realized how my latch looked different from their old install videos.

A spare closed end box wrench works great as that is what I first used to access the seat back area.
