What To Do With Charge Station Pro

[It's Just Me]

So I have no plans to use my charge station pro. I already have a generator that powers my house, so I have no need to back feed the power from the truck into the house. I also have the other charger set up in the garage.

So what are people doing with their Charge Station Pro if you aren't using it? I figure that there isn't much of a market for these things out there to sell.

there could be PRO and XLT SR owners who would not be receiving one of these that might want it, if they've optioned for the 9.6kw ProPower output, like me... or just want to have the ability to have up to 80amps charging speed.

Or a lightning owner with a 2nd recreation home or something like that, my guess is there is a market or at least will be when more lightnings are out in the wild

SR trucks can't charge at 80A, they don't have the dual onboard chargera.

I sold mine for $1,200 on eBay. I also got the $500 Visa card and extra 250 kWh charger credits due to shipping delay. Sold within a day of posting it. This was in June though, so the market may be different know with more chargers out there.

Sold mine on eBay. There is a market for them. Ford really should have provided an option to delete this from the order though.

You could always install it and put a pot on top to slow cook a meal overnight while you charge.

I yanked out the NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage and wired up the Ford charging station figured my wife could just use it with the adapter to charge her car. Yeah, Tesla's before 2021 don't support CCS even with the adapter. Looks like it's time for a new sub panel in the garage.
