I've been searching through all the settings, but I can't seem to find a way to display a clock on the instrument panel. The instrument panel shows the outside temperature, but not the time which is strange.

For now, I have to glance at the upper-right corner of the infotainment screen, but it'd be quicker and safer if it was available right in front on the instrument panel.

No setting to do what you're wanting to do.

Use the Record Feedback function to inform Ford of your recommendation.

On my 2022 Lariat ER, the clock is visible in the upper right corner, next to the temperature, and is shown in the screen shot provided by the earlier poster (shows 16:38). When I push the infotainment screen dial ring, the infotainment screen goes black and is only the time, and temperature.

You can hit the Calm Screen button on the settings menu and the screen will black out only showing the clock.

Double sided tape and the clock of your choice. Or some Velcro.
My dad used to do that back in the 80s. He would buy those cheap digital clocks in a grocery store for a dollar. They even came with Velcro to stick them. ?

If you want it simple and non-distractive, just speak - Alexa what time is it?

I left some feedback with Ford.

And thanks for all the suggestions - I see the clock in the infotainment screen, so it's good enough. Just strange why they would not have a clock in the instrument panel. Seems like a no brainer. Having a clock there makes more sense then seeing the temperature of your battery or motors.

I went through 3 or 4 of them like the one in the photo. I stuck them on the dash between the speedometer and tachometer on my 1967 Pontiac GTO. High tech back then ... speed, time and RPM in one glance. Another gauge for temperature ... coolant temperature!

I get your desire for a clock there, but don't agree it makes more sense than seeing temperatures.

This is my fifth EV and it's the first that has ever shown either a motor or battery temperature gauge. It's not like an ICE which does need monitoring.

Even if something goes squirrely with the battery or motor, a warning light and message would suffice.

If you go back through threads here, you'll find people towing with their eyes glued to the temperature gauges. Idiot lights wouldn't suffice.

Ahhhh. I never considered towing - good point.
