But for reasons likely beyond any logic or reason, doing the same update through FDRS does not?EV OTA's that require the vehicle to be inhibited use the HVB to feed the LVB during the install process.

Actually they didn't used to and now only some can. It depends on the module being updatedEV OTA's that require the vehicle to be inhibited use the HVB to feed the LVB during the install process.
It does not. That's why FDRS asks you to make sure you have a proper power supply connected before you update any module. But for reasons likely beyond any logic or reason, doing the same update through FDRS does not?
Thanks for the clarification. I knew they didn't always do this, but I did not know it was module specific.Actually they didn't used to and now only some can. It depends on the module being updated
I don't know which post but IIRC someone asked this question already in this thread and a person who got the OTA replied they did not have the CSP done. EDIT: see post 23Also, has anyone established if being flagged for 24B56 would for some reason inhibit the OTA?
So what are they going to do for the CSP if the OTA has already updated the IPMA??No and No. you need to take it in for the CSP.
If an update for one module is not available, they skip it.So what are they going to do for the CSP if the OTA has already updated the IPMA??
They probably effed you on the 5.x and now the 7.x 8.x & 9.x’s.Whenever you feel bad about being behind the latest drop, just remind yourself that there are people like me still on 6.2 or worse.
Early adopters? How about full price payers, would be more accurateI don't understand how ford ignores their early 22 adopters/owners. We deserve all the updates and fixes first. We are the group who have subscription Blue cruise 1.0 that next year expires. Hello Ford 22 Lightnings deserve new OTA'S and new software first. The 22 owners paid a huge premium during covid for these trucks and deserve better!
See Dealer and Tech Bulletins here. The first dealer's tech cancelled the PSCM when it popped up according to the FDRS log (thanks to @Mike G for that).Oh I didn't know the CSP was more than the IPMA. On the app it just says IPMA.
