After looking at the post again the person may have been referring to a zone lighting option on the truck screen, not in the Ford app. Sorry to get your hopes up.

For those getting this - check your Sync version (Settings..General..About Sync). When I got this update last May, Sync updated to Version 25094. Curious if that's still the case or is it even newer like 25211.

Looking for anyone with a Pro to confirm if Walk Away Locks works for them. I've done the changes in forscan initially, I've received 3-4 updates mentioning walk away locks and it either shows up or disappears with the updates. This latest one has removed it.

When the toggles were showing I could enable/disable WAL without issue, but the feature never actually worked regardless.

I have a Pro SSV and I had the toggle when the truck was new, but WAL never worked. I fiddled with Forscan to see if I could actually get it working, but the consensus was that the Pro trim doesn't have the hardware for it. One of the updates finally removed the toggle from my SYNC screen.

Okay cool glad I'm not going crazy. Similar experience here. I suspect that if we did the proximity door handle swap and bcm flash that WAL would work after that but I'm currently exploring adding PaaK to my truck instead.

Received this update today and it removed my Glare-Free Adaptive Light toggle which was added via FORScan. But not checked if glare free was disabled yet.

My glare free I enabled via ForScan is still working. I have not looked for the toggle as I cant fathom why I would ever turn it off, but when I get a chance I will take a look to see if the toggle went away.

I just noticed that my glare free toggle in my SYNC screen options is now greyed out and toggled to "off", but my glare free mod is still working like normal (lights do their glare free thing and the indicator in the instrument cluster still shows the green headlight with an "A"). I can also toggle through the headlight options with my turn signal stalk and change modes with the rotary dial.

Have either of you checked your Forscan values since noticing this for any changes? Is your glare free still working?

I might try to look through my values and see if there was something changed with this update but I also want to leave it alone since it is still working. The only inconvenience if you can call it that is the SYNC toggle.

Ha! Thought I was crazy too! Some of the responses on the thread I started also thought I was crazy. I guess Ford does forget to remove various codes from the software for different trims every now and then...

I might try to look through my values and see if there was something changed with this update but I also want to leave it alone since it is still working. The only inconvenience if you can call it that is the SYNC toggle.

I've been driving more at night and my glare free seems to be working, but switching just feels like it not so smooth as it was. Maybe just phantom feeling.

Update: This morning I drove the kids to school and checked my settings page...the toggle is back to normal and toggled on...weird. I guess this is just one of those expected Ford/Forscan mod oddities.

Just checked, my glare free toggle did not returned itself.
While it works I'm fine but that feelings that something incorrect is slowly boiling me.

I updated my truck via FRDS today and finally have the updated SYNC v 25221 as shown below:

I was at 25094 previously.

The part number for the APIM update was PU6T-14G682-NS

Not sure if that helps anyone or not.
