I have a 2023 platinum... I don't know the 2025 specs off hand but from what I can remember, each of the trucks got features lopped off as the years went by. An argument can be made that the 2022 platinum is the best version of the truck. When I bought mine, the 2024's were available and the one thing I was debating was the 2024's had a heat pump. I am so happy now that I did NOT get the heat pump version. From what I've seen here, the heat pump is more efficient and will gain you a few more miles of range but they are noisy and slow to create heat in very cold temps. My truck heats up in a minute in -30C and is dead quiet but I am one of the few in the world that don't haul 10k lb trailers across the country every day so range is not at issue for me. If you need the extra few miles, the heat pump might be a plus. I was disappointed in my 23 because the 22 had massage seats and weigh scales. I would have taken a 22 if they were available at the time.
The biggest thing you are gaining in a 25 over a 23 is depreciation and warranty. When you sell your 2025 in so many years, it will always be 2 years newer and you can sell it for more. Of course that works both ways, when you are buying now, you can get a 23 way cheaper than a 25. If you plan to keep it for a long time and don't care about that. Unless you get a smoking deal on a 25, I would save the money and get a 23.

The biggest difference that I would be concerned with is the two year difference in the battery warranty.

Unsure of all the differences except to note the 25 has a heat pump where the 23 will have standard resistive heating.
Heat pump is more efficient they claim, I can't speak to the trucks system but the heat pump tech used in my water heater uses much less power, 9kW old compared to new @ 1kW.

The 23 is missing massaging seats and possibly htd steering wheel.
The 25 has 48 amp charging vs 80 on the 23 which isn’t a Big deal to about 90 percent of the buyers .
The 25 has a heat pump .

The city where I live has several 19.2 kwh level 2 chargers. 80 amps is a big deal.

Maybe for you , charging is super expensive here all levels and most ppl who own these charge at home at 32 -48 amps or DCFC on the road where it has no bearing on speeds at all . at the most so for
Most ppl it’s not a big deal That 19.2 kw charger would’ve .30-.50 a kw so I’d pass

My '23 Lariat ER has the heated steering wheel, so I can't imagine that the Platinum wouldn't have it as well.

Before I bought my area, I probably looked at 50 window stickers, no exaggeration and it seems like the 23s are about 50-50 on the heated steering wheel and there’s plenty of platinum‘s without them.

Yep there was a huge chip shortage. I was lucky to get the heated steering wheel on my 23 Lariat. To me the double fast charging is a big deal, I can fill it up quickly once I get home on my 80amp charger.
And glad I don’t have the noisy heat pump. Going skiing with nice heat and quiet.

Look for a '22 platinum over a '23. Same truck but the '23 has fewer features but costs more. The '25 has a fresher warranty and the heat pump, but a lot of people prefer the non-heatpump anyway. Faster cabin heat for a marginal loss in range.
