Yeah that's what Ford chat told me yesterday too - "I appreciate your patience, and congratulations on your new purchase! Based on the last update from September 23rd I'm able to see that the vehicle was in transit in Blue Island, IL. At this time there is a "pending update" status on the order, so I currently do not have any further new information to provide. You're more than welcome to continue to check with us, or the selling Ford dealership in a few days to see if the new update is available. Ford Chat keeps telling me to reach out to the dealer for a better answer on where the truck is and the dealer keeps telling me they don't know anything. ?![]()

No updates for me all alone in Wisconsin. Quit chatting or following rail a while ago both seemed fruitless. Only texted my dealer this Monday when I drove by to see a hauler unloading, which was the 1st time I’ve see a single hauler at the dealer after driving by at least 30 times (it’s on a normal route for me) in past 5 weeks. No luck though. Current eta is 10/12 to 10/18
I text my dealer 1x a week just to see if he knows anything new. So far they have been great. If we ever get our trucks I’ll let you know how it goes and maybe you change to them.Your dealer responds to your texts?
I only texted my sales manager 4 times since I ordered in June. I'm trying hard not to be a pest. Twice in the last month. Not one response. I think this is the last car I'm buying from them. I'm switching to Penske or Kearny mesa. I don't think he relaizes how many sales he's lost now. I need a ranger for my son when he graduates sdsu this summer, a maverick for my company and I'm probably gonna get a e transit for my company too.

My dealer sales guy has been very responsive from the start. They just unfortunately are completely in the dark... I really do believe this is a Ford issue regarding shipping execution. I am in a similar situation to you that I picked a dealer that our family company buys company vehicles from so I have that leverage if they were to get a little too greedy!I text my dealer 1x a week just to see if he knows anything new.
