Lately I started charging my extended range truck using the Ford Mobile Charger at 110V only because the receptacle has more convenient access. My truck is not a daily driver so it sits idle sometimes a few days. I feel 110 is likely easier on the charger and truck batteries; however, I wonder if all the extra hours charging is detrimental to the the charging system (charger and truck's battery overhead)?
If my electrician ever gets around to me I'll get the 80 amp installed, meanwhile, I am curious if anyone has considered the pros and cons of faster household 220V vs slower 110V. Thanks.
