I’ll be honest, never been good with these wiring diagrams.

The proximity pilot signal is the common between both systems (AC and DC charging). A loss of that signal wont allow you to charge any way, so I suspect that perhaps that signal isnt reaching the SOBDM or for whatever reason the SOBDM isnt acting on the signal. The dealer might throw a SOBDM on it and see what happens. By default, they should run continuity checks between the charge port and SOBDM.

I had to lookup what this was. So just sharing for future reference for others looking at this thread later on:

To break this down a bit further, the SOBDM disburses a digital signal to all the other modules letting them know "Hey, im plugged in and going to charge, lets get ready for it." The opposite is also true "Hey, I was charging but now they've requested to stop." It knows this based on the pilot signal initiated by the charger when you plug in.

Please, please. If you're going to show us a screen on your computer or tablet, use a screen capture and not a photo of the screen. Massively easier to read.

Nope, spoke with the service advisor today & he said they’re still waiting on engineering :(

Glad I found this thread before I started a new one.... @Ted23Lightning did you install the latest update with Walk Away Lock?

I am having the same issue as you are. It started with the truck stopping charge at 88% while Ford Pass and inside the truck said 100%. Unplugged and the true charge would appear. It has since gone down to 86% and is now just idling at "Starting Charger"

Here are some pics for comparison. This was me changing the One Time Target to 100% to see if it would charge all the way to 100%. After looking at the App saying charging was complete and 100% I went to look at the cluster and screen, sure enough 100% but 275 miles? No biggie, it's the guess o meter so whatever. Unplugged and back to 86% charged with the same 275 miles which is where it is normally. The problem for is for the last week it has failed to reach the target charge 90% and only goes up to 86%, 87% or 88%. This has all happened after the most recent update but I am not sure if it's related.

Interesting. So it charges, but only to a certain percentage in the high 80s?

My Target Charge is 90%, it’s been like that for the last 3 years never an issue until last week. Yes, it charges but doesn’t reach its Target charge as it changes to say it’s 100% charged but it’s not. It’s similar to yours except mine is still charging but just not to the set point.

Hmmm. Maybe Walk Away Lock enabled NO POWER in the SOBDM-A?

So, I’ve been holding off on posting this, because the engineer that is in charge of this region, apparently had a death in the family. But I think there is some progress now. My vehicle is showing that it is charged at 256% in FDRS. So that’s why it’s not charging at all, or that’s what they figured out so far.
