Hey everyone,
Looking for some advice/to see if anyone else has experienced something similar with their Lightning.
I purchased a 10k mile, Certified, 2023 F-150 Lightning back in February and it's already been in the shop twice for major system failures.
The first time, on April 11th, it completely went haywire on start up – a total "Christmas tree" of warning lights popped up. It had to be towed to Ford. It was there until April 24th, and while it seemed to be running again when I got it back, they apparently couldn't pinpoint the exact cause.
Fast forward to today, May 3rd, and it happened again while I was driving. The exact same cascade of error lights. After almost and hour of turning on/off, I managed to get it restarted and limped it back to Ford.
The error messages I've seen include (but aren't limited to):
* Lane-Keeping System Fault (LKS Fault)
* Stop Safely Now warning
* Service AdvanceTrac notification
* Parking Sensors Fault
* Pre-Collision Assist Not Available
* Front Motor Fault
The first time I confirmed 12V was charged with a multimeter. The second time my Lightning ended up in “Engineering mode” on one of the restarts and also showed 12.3V of power.
Has anyone else encounter this issue with their Lightning? I'm starting to get really concerned about the reliability of this vehicle.
Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!
