Going to revive this thread a bit. Just made the change to the APIM. Here are some pictures of what I’m getting now. The charge rate does now show up on the screen but weird things like the charge limit going up to like 600kw etc. lol

I get the same. The charge rate seems a little ambitious, about 1kW higher than Fordpass says, yet the amperage is lower than what is set on the FCSP by 4A.

I was hoping we could set the charging targets to something other than the presets, (70%, 80%, 85%, 90% etc) Also the one time charge limit option is gone.

I put the change into place today but reverted it due to inconsistencies. I already have the rate in IPC on my 2023 so I guess I don’t really need this on the Sync screen.

I would like to know if there are some other changes needed to make these settings a little less odd. I.e, like the 100% suggested charge limit, 600+ kW limits.

I made the Forscan changes on a 2024 Flash and I have the menu options, but they do not actually work. I had my truck in for the GSM CSP and asked the EV tech to check the modules Jesse listed as needing updates for pending updates. The tech said all had updates to be applied. Looks like I will get to make my first attempt with FDRS soon. Maybe this weekend...

On a side note, I just noticed I now have an Advanced menu option showing in the Charge tab of Ford(Pass) 6.10 that lists AC Charge Rate. Not at home and not plugged up so it just shows as currently unavailable when I try it. I am not positive it was not there before. Pretty sure, but not positive.

Some updates are rolling out.. at least for my 24. I had BECM, obcc updates And now a PCM, SOBDMB and C updates.. then yesterday a gateway. I dont know if an APIM will sequence after the gateway.. maybe they are moving towards finally getting the 22-up trucks to have this. I will see once I get mine updated.

I'm guessing he means they're showing in fdrs. OTA will take a while given Ford's track record.

I would love to have a working advanced charging screen without all of the errors. Think this is the last thing I could hope for as I have integrated all of the other changes including charge speed in IPC, PP with the ignition off. Wish that Ford had provided these things, but they don’t so FDRS and Forscan to the rescue.

Just to add to this.. There is a gateway update and it is followed by a APIM update that is what teh 2026 vehicles are shipping at. So it looks like we may be getting the tesla charger search and advance charge options. we shall see. I cant do any updates.. So I cant let anyone know if it does anything or not.. but if you do have a 24 at least and FDRS that is the story as of now.

Might have to splurge on a pts subscription and see if anything interesting is available for the 23's. $26 is a lot better than $150 to find out you have no updates.

the apim has a bit of a refresh look nothing major but some small changes. Hopefully they can let me know if the advance charging works now
