This started about a month ago, My charger stays plugged into my Lightning in the Winter Months to keep a charge and the batteries at an acceptable level and to condition the Vehicle on the plug. Mine won't, the Charger keeps Amber Light Faulting and the batteries get cold to where my Extended Range Battery dwindles to a less than 250 mile range. The Houston EV People (Brianna, Dorine, and the supposed supervisor "CJ") say there is nothing wrong, won't get me to a Tech Resource and they have NO IDEA HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK. They also said the charger was warranted for 3 yeas which I also believe is wrong. Any Idea how to get to next level Tech Support. NOTE: Didn't do this at all LAST WINTER.

First try cycling power off on the fcsp for 2 minutes and back on.

Make sure your fcsp is connected to WiFi and shows in the Ford app.

If that doesn't work, you have to recheck all of your connections and wiring.

You might need to derate the fcsp to 60 or 48a if the problem persists.

Amber is not a fault, it simply means that that the charge rate is reduced, either intentionally or due to internal throttling.

I’m not sure what you’re expecting? The battery won’t be heated unless it gets below freezing. Range gets reduced in the cold - there’s no way to prevent that.

First I see you have a 2024 Lightning, so your maximum charging rate is 48 amps.

Take a look at your Ford App, energy tab, Charge Station at the bottom of the scroll list.

Then look at Settings, hopefully you see the rate is at the maximum for your install most likely 48 amps, is the circuit breaker a 60 amp feeding power to the FCSP?

If you see a low value, try bumping it up to maximum.

Also, if you have time of use (TOU) charging rules programed in SYNC, try deleting all your rules, and see if the truck will take an immediate charge. If this fixes the problem, then rebuild your rules afterward.

Here are examples, note I am set for 80 amps because my FCSP is installed for the higher capacity dual onboard chargers.

Yep Connections checked, 48 set in and the software.

Here are the possible light combinations on the Ford Charge Station Pro (FCSP). I have mine set @ 64A so when I'm charging I have a pulsing blue bar in the middle and a solid amber bar on the right. Also, most of the time after charging, when I unplug, the white solid bar will light up for a few minutes, then turn dim blue. Sorry about the picture, there should not be any dim green lights. Example is the top, there are no lights when the station is off.

Maybe try factory reset? Nothing to lose at this point. Should be able to do it from the app since you can still access it. May be fubar though.

I would suggest you capture all the video information and screen grabs of you going through this that you can. Ford's EV support team aren't really set up for Charge Station Pros - as evidenced when they told me my unit was functioning because it charged the truck (but wouldn't pair up for home integration system work)

This, my mobile charger did the same thing about a week ago, tried everything else before power cycling 🙄
