Fun fact the comma still works when using a trailer plug to fool the truck into thinking you're towing to get the blindspot camera on turn signal. You do still lose blindspot monitoring and the rear sensors as expected. Not sure I'd ever want to actually tow with it though.

Quite a few people tow with it. Really depends on your trailer setup whether it works well or not. As long as your trailer weight balance is correct, there are no issues. If you have too much tongue weight it ping-pongs / sways too much. You definitely need to turn off nudge less lane chagnes when using the Comma though.

Funny you posted this. I was just thinking that adding a lightning bolt and a comma on the corresponding sides would be an option but didn’t know if it was feasible. I know pretty much nothing about 3D printing.
So.. im apparently not good at not being extra.

PJnc284 and UncleTony Thank you for all of your help and generosity. The breakout board worked for my 2025. There is NO codes and the one pedal works!!!!
Great to hear. Its odd to see how inconsistent the issues are across different lightnings.

What trailer plug are you using? Is there a delay for the video popping up if you are using CarPlay?

Update on Final Adapter & Pre-Orders

A lot of people have asked to get on a pre-order list for the final version of the adapter. I appreciate the interest, but I won’t be accepting pre-orders until I’ve verified this batch meets my standards. I don’t want anyone’s money until I know the final version is solid.

This batch includes 50 adapters. I believe that should cover everyone who’s reached out, but I’m still being cautious to avoid over-selling. (Three units are already accounted for—one for myself and two for some "marketing" for BluePilot.)

The plan is to set up an email for placing orders. When the time comes, you’ll send an email including your preferred payment method (Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or Bitcoin—only full coins ?), along with the account name I should request payment from and shipping info.

I’ll open up pre-orders after I’ve tested one in my own truck for at least a week and confirmed everything works as expected. That also gives me time to finish printing and assembling 50 cases and fix any fitment issues that come up.

Once 47 orders are received, the email will automatically reply to let you know they’re sold out.

I honestly doubt they’ll all go that fast—but I want to be ready just in case.

Just installed in my 24 lighting. Few issues I had:

1) The AC stopped working. It didn't throw any errors - just wouldn't cool the air. Has anyone had this happen?
2) Alerts on startup. This heard that this has been discussed in depth in this thread so I'll start going back through it. But if its an easy fix, would someone mind bringing me up to speed?
Typed the message below before I got caught up on the thread:
I experienced the same AC issue about 10 days ago. (Only about four days after installing) I am usually parked in a garage so even though I have a slide mount, I had forgotten to remove it and it overheated. I took it down to let it cool. Drove home that day without it mounted and had no AC. Since then, I get functioning AC about one in ten trips. Because I occasionally get AC, I was about to schedule a service to see if I actually had an issue with my AC. I decided to come back here and see how the progress of UncleTony's hardware fix was coming along. I'm so relieved that someone else is having the issue.

Not sure if it's related but, today on the way home the 3x crashed during the trip. It said likely faulty cable. When it restarted, it was in the settings page, or black screen. If I tap the screen, it shows me the menu / ride info pages - no camera. I was about to unplug the harness and go back to factory to test if the AC malfunction was related but, w/ my meat sticks, it's really hard to get that connecter back into the module - GLAD I came back to see the updated thread.

I don't have Forscan - Can any link me to what I need? Seems like I should have that tool at the ready if I'm going to be hanging out with you guys. I've googled it but, that's a rabbit hole.

My setup:
'24 Lariat. 3x purchased early July. Ford harness from Comma. The mirror mount version of AZRide's slide mount. (It's a nice idea but it's way to bouncy. Puts a lot of stress on the 3D print even with ASA... I'm going to switch to his original stick-on design) I am running the USB cable into the mount - no hardware correction inline. (Sending DM to UncleTony soon)

Lastly:
Also want to throw my appreciation in as well... for what it's worth. There are a couple of you guys doing a lot of work for the rest of us. I see you. It's appreciated.

-Matt

I appreciate that. It sound like the AC issue is going to be a thing for some of us. I can get you a breakout made if no one has any extras they are willing to part with, since the final version is still around 2 weeks away.

The bad cable message may be coming from the extra adapters in the mount. But let's start with the breakout board.
