Has this problem been solved? I have a 2024 lightning flash. I keep finding conflicting information.

2024 is not encrypted, there was some misleading information in FDRS that lead us to think it was. 2024 is confirmed working.

Thats just the normal Q4 harness. The smaller cable is ideal to reduce stress on the comma units USB port against the windshield. But it will work the same with your setup.

If you unplug the cable from your comma unit and start the truck, does it not throw errors?

I get no issues, I drove around no lights or anything. Its plugged into OB2 also

Yeah, the issues are at startup while the comma unit is off or unplugged. You won't see issues while driving unless the unit crashes. But if you are not remote starting and still dont see the errors. That is a good thing.

To be clear, all vehicles show alerts if the unit crashes while driving, that is not lightning specific.

To the best of our knowledge, they are still needed.

Do you have the ability to view the inventory of your trucks modules? Im not sure it will give me what im looking for. But curious to see what may be different from others.

I just went outside started plugged in to obd2 not plugged in comma plugged in not plugged in I grabbed an 8' Amazon special usbc and plugged into harness could not generate any issues that I could see. Do we have more data on trucks like 9.6K, screen size, with or without blue cruise, battery module update (done) etc?

None of that would effect the reflection issues. The length of the connection is likely the cause. Trying to see if you would have any reason to have shorter can bus topology in your specific truck.

Or if perhaps his truck has reverse power disabled somehow.

How many have disabled their seatbelt nag? I turned mine off a long time ago, maybe? Trying to think what is different, long shot.

Installed mine today with the mirror bracket mount and loaded BP 3.1. Seems to wander within lanes a bit - any tips for dialing that in?
anyone happen to know exactly the correct screw spec to use with this mount? (I found one at Lowe's so it's secure, but not sure if someone found one better. This mount.)
