Read this - are the upstream changes from Comma/Sunny going to be a relative positive impact even without TI?

I'd spend more money just to support you guys, but imho Comma is already at a sweet spot 80/20 for me. There's situations where I'd like it to be better, but it's already pretty good.
The new lateral logic coming in 7.0 might be perfect for you then. The TI is for people who get annoyed even having to steer around a traffic circle, or those who have TRON encrypted vehicles.

Have you guys been talking with the creator of the Mazda Torque Interceptor?

We are definitely in talks with someone who already makes a Torque Interceptor. Until I get the NDA to review, I'm nervous to say much, since I don't know exactly what the NDA would prohibit me from saying.

I found the Ford native to be way worse. I’m running BP 6.0 and the Liquid Glass model. Chat GPT was helpful dialing in and explaining exactly what each setting is and how it affects the vehicle. Good luck and enjoy!
Do different models have different nanny sensitivities?

The comma nanny is very sensitive. I was reading that it was less sensitive than ford’s, but it looks like they rolled out an update recently that made it more sensitive.

The models come from Comma -- and apparently the driver detection is built into these.

In the past week or so, I've noticed an audile "ding-ding" from my C4 when stopped at a red traffic signal and it turns green.

I tried looking this up in the Sunnypilot documentation and found the Green Traffic Light Alert, but it states that it is not available for the C4.

Am I imagining the "ding-ding" sound or has this been rolled out to the C4 before the documentation has been updated?

From this web page: https://community.sunnypilot.ai/t/visuals-settings/3690

Green Traffic Light Alert (Beta)
Plays a chime and shows an on-screen alert when the traffic light ahead turns green while you are stopped with no lead vehicle in front. Helps you notice the light change.

Toggle & Device Availability
Supported on: comma 3X/3 only. This feature is currently not available on comma four and cannot be forced via sunnylink.

I have the same ding when I’m first in line at a light. I remember toggling this setting when getting everything up and going.

Noticed a "ding-ding" from my C4 this weekend when I was NOT the lead car at a red traffic signal.

I was stopped in a queue of vehicles at a red signal, about 5 or 6 back from the lead car. The signal turned green and the vehicle in front of me started moving and I heard the "ding-ding".

Sunnypilot has an option that explains this, but is apparenly NOT AVAILABLE with a C4:

Lead Departure Alert (Beta)
Plays a chime and shows an on-screen alert when you are stopped and the vehicle ahead begins moving. Useful for noticing when traffic starts flowing again.

This setting also exists in BluePilot and does work with the c4.

On a related note, how often is Bluepilot updated with Sunnypilot? BP 6.0 came out in March, Sunnypilot 26.1 came out on May 6th and 26.2 came out yesterday. I'm not super familiar with how the branching works, so please excuse my ignorance.

Bluepilot was built around stability and reliability, the initial philosophy was to only sync when we released new features.

Since no one has volunteered to help run the fork now that I am stepping back, it only syncs when I'm bored or have a major new feature to add.

Fair enough and, as someone heavily involved in other volunteer endeavours, I totally sympathize ... it's always 1% of the peeps doing 99% of the work (and apparently even more extreme ratios in this scenario).
