Departure Times

So i am a previous Tesla owner and setting the departure time was about the same, but it worked. I have tried several times, resetting departure times, plugging it in or leaving it unplugged, and it has never been warm when i go out to the truck. Am i doing something wrong or do I need to take it in for service?

You must be plugged in for the battery to be preconditioned, then the cabin is warmed or cooled.

What did you set the Climate to? Cool, Medium, Warm, or Off?

Are you really departing at 3:10AM?

Yes unfortunately I get up at 2am to go to work.
I have it set to warm and had it plugged in 2 of the last 4 nights cause it would be nice to have to warmed up since it takes a while to heat up. I guess I could just turn on the climate from the app every morning.

What do you have your target SOC set to? Check your charge history and see what time your truck reaches your target SOC. SOC takes priority so if you don't get that level before the departure process needs to start, it might skip it in favour of charging. Setting SOC to 100% has caused grief with folks last winter because it takes so long to get to 100%.

I think I figured out why maybe. It worked this morning. I have work as my target charge location and deleted that it seems to have fixed the issue. Which brings up another thing. Can you set the charge limit to 90% default without going into the system to set it every time you charge?

You should be able to set the charge limit to 90 from the app or the truck.

Create a charge location for home and work, you'll need to configure each after the next successful charging session at these locations.
