Determining the production date of a Lightning (Spin off)

Following this one to hear what happened.
I somehow threaded the needle on all these dates in this notice about the misaligned electrodes. My build date was Dec 13, 2023. But as far as I understand these dates were narrowed down further to between Jan 3, 2022 April 1, 2023.

That being said . . how does one find out the "build date" of their truck?

Look at your Fordpass, Service tab, if a Recall or CSP is open regarding this or other issues it will be listed just below the Washer & Tire status tiles, it's a dynamic section, only showing when an open issue is present.

That being said . . how does one find out the "build date" of their truck?

If you log into parts.ford.com and put in your VIN you can click on the vehicle name and you’ll see the exact build date. Looks like this:

I know my truck was originally scheduled for build on 6/9/2022, but at the time the production line was slowed and actual build date was 6/17 which is what was shown on the production tracker way back when we were watching the birth of every new Lightning. It correlates with what Fordparts.com says about my truck.

My 2024 Lightning Platinum has a date of 2/20/2025 on bottom of window sticker. The part site shows actual build date of 9/12/2024.

Sales rep told me at the time that it was re-invoiced prior to my buying it to remove the cost of the Blue Cruise and I would not be charged for it on the lease. Finance manager told me the same thing. I didn’t want BC because I very rarely drive on BC mapped roads.

But they both were wrong. 3 years of Blue Cruise was included on the lease and is on the truck, so I don’t know what the original invoice bottom line price was and what changes were made on the re-invoiced sticker. To their credit they made it right about a week after the sale when I pointed the error out.

My 2024 Lightning Platinum has a date of 2/20/2025 on bottom of window sticker. The part site shows actual build date of 9/12/2024.

The date at the bottom is the generation date or last resquencing date for a batch consolidation of many build weeks {window stickers}, only the date at the top which often disappears is your original planned build/blend day., show me a snap shot of the top margin.

You've beat our OG members @Scanman57 {4/12/22 & @idahospud {4/14/22}, but note they were the first built amongst the "Special Order" class, I suspect your build was the tail end of the initial run of Dealer Demos, did it come with a blue or green window sticker?

Unfortunately when Ford revises the sequence of the window sticker batches, we loose the view of the original planned blend date on the top margin and the date 2/20/25 is the date the resequencing run was completed. You can still see your original planned production blend date on the tire placard on the door jam it's likely in line with the 9/11/2024 date by a few days.
