The GSM doesn't update, leave it alone. Do the TRM first and then look back a few posts and follow @Jesse-Infotainment 's post about how to do the IPC...

The IPC update seems to be ok now. They seemed to have sent out the correct update.

Edit.. The IPC is TWO parts - I know I mentioned that previously. First is a USB update and the last is CANBUS So please pay close attention as you do it.

Kind of nervous to mess with it after what happened last time. I would like to know if/what I did wrong before moving forward. Obviously it was fixable at the dealer... So I'll likely do this soon, still have some time left on my FDRS.

Is it just the GSM and ABS modules that won’t update and be removed from the list in FDRS? Those are the 2 for me that just won’t go and I’m wondering if it’s normal or is there a specific procedure to do to get them to update?

Looks like FDRS 31.6.5 was also released today. Other than a mention of EVAP check now be supported on hybrid vehicles not sure if there was anything else fixed.

Those two haven’t updated and cleared for me either. Have tried several times over the course of three 2-day licenses. One qualification. The ABS cleared once for me but then showed back up again during the next session.

What happens when you hit OK? Does it give you the option to update via CAN bus? How’s your vehicle voltage? Are you maintaining around 12.5V or better?

When I click ok it goes back to the FDRS screen showing the update is still available. The update via USB part 1 is successful, this second part is the not successful part.
Watching voltage on battery maintainer and all seems fine above 12.5 consistently.

Didn't see an option to update via CAN.

Got past that. Appears it updated correctly now and has APIM available after that.

Good. But you might not be quite done yet. After you finish up with the APIM and you’re good there, start the truck up, maybe drive it around the block. Then check to see if the IPC is throwing a DTC. I suspect it will because of the error message. If it does, run the PMI for the IPC. You’ll find it in the toolbox if you select the IPC. That will complete the configuration and the DTC should clear.

Good idea. Just loaded the APIM and updated via USB stick. Waiting the 30 minutes to restart the truck. I'm guessing you are correct with the DTC. I know that when I restarted after the IPC update there were some yellow/orange modules...

I think his comment about the IPMA was directed to me—a polite correction. I hadn’t read your earlier posts carefully enough and I thought you were having interaction problems with visual sensors not reporting to other modules correctly. Generally, that suggests something amiss with the IPMA; more likely than the APIM. An interaction wasn’t your issue, so messing with the IPMA wasn’t called for, or a good idea given your errors. I don’t think he was speaking generally that you should never do a PMI on the IPMA. In general, PMIs can be very effective to clear codes for modules that update fine but fail for whatever reason to fully configure.

As for the IPC, yes, if it is orange double check the particular kind of DTC that FDRS is reporting. If its U2100, that is a failure to complete the configuration and the PMI should fix it. It will ask you if the original module or a new one is installed. I said original when I had that code and it worked fine. @Jesse-Infotainment recommends selecting new. He’s the authority so his advice should be the one you follow.
