So no euro-adjusted by the dealer then?

Do your tail-lights blink? I can’t get mine to do so.

No euro adjustments have been done (except using FORScan to enable Norwegian language and swapping the cellular modem so the app and OTA updates work). The truck is registered under the §5-3 exemption, as far as I know, that’s the only way to get the Extended Range battery with 5 seats as a regular car without the C1 speed limitations etc. That also means I get to keep the original red tail-light blinkers, which is explicitly approved and written in the registration papers.

Cool, have you tested BlueCruise in Sweden? They are enabled for BC

Quick question for anyone who’s dealt with region changes: Do you need to factory reset SYNC/APIM after switching regions, and more importantly, will that wipe out all my FORScan changes?

Here’s my situation: I’ve got almost everything working perfectly after my region change, but I’m hitting one snag. I purchased and activated European connected navigation through the FordPass app, and while it shows as active in the app, it’s still showing as deactivated in the vehicle itself (been a couple days now).

My theory is that since I initially paired my phone while the region was set to US, the APIM might need a fresh connection established while in the correct European region. But obviously if a factory reset is going to nuke all my FORScan modifications, that’s not worth it for one feature.
Anyone dealt with this specific scenario? Is there a way to refresh the connected services without losing the good stuff, or am I overthinking this and there’s a simpler fix?

Thanks in advance - this community has been incredibly helpful with my previous questions!

Hey y'all, I'm looking for some help too. I recently retrofitted my cameras with turn lamps and puddle lamps. I made the forscan changes here (see post #2) and the turn lamps and four-zone lighting are working great. However, my puddle lamps aren't working. You can find more info about this in my post on that same thread (post #3). Any ideas what the issue may be?

- Since neither of the puddle lamps are working I doubt it is a wiring issue, unless I got the pins wrong for both of them?
- I doubt the puddle lamps themselves are bad since what are the odds both would be malfuctioning "out of the box"?
- So I think I might have a Forscan issue. When making the forscan changes I followed the #2 post on the thread I linked above exactly.

Any ideas?

Any help would be appreciated!

I have searched All through forescan. I have silent mode enabled, welcome lighting off, cabin lights off.

Is there any possible way to turn off the cargo light and the tailgate light when the door opens and the truck is on?

Unfortunately Silent mode aka campground mode is for when the truck is off. Keeps truck dark and silent when opening door or locking. Like when getting something out at a campsite.

I'm looking for drive-in movie theater mode. Car is on, radio is on. But don't want to blind the people behind me when I need to get out to pee.

And you won’t miss a second of the movie. :)
That has to be the most unnecessary product I have ever seen.

Much easier to just roll down the window.

As far as the drive-in, my solution is drop the tailgate input a blanket over the top cab light. I still think there's got to be a solution somewhere in forscan.

Anyone know how to turn on AUTO DIM mode on outside mirror glass, on an XLT which originally came with non-dimming mirrors?

If this is somewhere in this or previous FORScan thread, I regretfully missed it.

PROBLEM: when I upgraded (finally!) to both outside mirrors with Power Fold capability, the newly bought driver's side mirror has the glass with the stippled edge, and an additional circuit connector behind the glass. I know from previous cars like my old Mach E Mustang that this new edge-stippled mirror glass is an auto dimming mirror.

My 2023 XLT Option 312 does (did) not have this in its now-gone original outside mirrors. Although the XLT did have cameras, and this new power fold mirror lacked a camera... had to transfer the camera and its wiring and trim panel from old to new mirror stalks which was a fun meticulous task but it's now done.

I just tested the all the new mirror's functions at night on the highway, hoping the auto-dimming would just begin to work. Unfortunately and thanks to some idjit who was driving behind me with full beams on, I now know the auto dim function on this mirror still remains to be manually turned on somewhere... maybe in the BCM. Unless of course my door wiring harness lacks a wire and connector for this new function (sigh)...

Anyone with the smarts or experience to solve this, please chip in. BTW I'm pretty FORScan-fluent after four Ford cars in the family.

If someone doesn't chime in you can be the first to show us how it's done. CNTRL+F "mirror" or "auto" in the spreadsheet is a good place to start.

I looked through the door module options thinking it would most likely be there, but I see nothing there or the BCM which would have been my next guess. I did find this in the IPC. Worth a try, I guess.
