Also, this value:

That is always a 4. I am not sure what "DSMC type" is, but that is always a 4 in as far as I can remember.

Yes. I replied that those changes brought back the bed cam at speed. Thank you.

So between last year and now, I added a note to clarify that mod is not about the light bar. Instead the mod changes the DRL's shown here. You probably should change them back to 10%. Folks found that it looks like you have your brights on all the time and other drivers will flash you.

So there is no way to change the light bar brightness?

With FORScan - not that anyone has found.
You could tint it to make it less bright.

Edit: Btw, I think the changes I sent you to enable BC 1.4 a while back ago contained an error. While you're in there, check this setting in the APIM and if it is a 4, change it to an E:

So I wonder if this change for BC killed my assisted lane change? It’s still showing on in the center screen but now the truck will not change lanes when turn signal is on. I’m about to install a comma 3 so this might be moot but thought I’d share the feedback.

It shouldn't. Lane change is enabled in line 706-01-02. Message me the VIN and a screenshot of the first for lines of the ipma. No rush..... I'm not home and can't look into in until later.

In the interceptors there is a physical button but I imagine the rest is mostly FORSCAN changes. There is mention of sensors behind the bumper but I'm going to guess those are the same sensors as our parking sensors...

This would be a neat feature, even if not all that useful for most

In addition to what is listed I also did the following, thanks to /u/SNBI1791 on reddit.. now it's working.

Open IPC as built

Change line 720-13-01 and 720-13-02 to ALL zeros. Change line 720-14-01 and 720-14-02 to ALL zeros.

Then write it.

It did not work for me either. Time to renew my license and double check my entries. I will try this if it still does not work. Be nice to not hear the chime when my Boxer rides as co-pilot.

I just rolled with it and it worked, I made a backup just in case of course. That reminds me I need to backup my backup lol

I found the spreadsheet, yeah looks like it's different for 24' and confirmed.

I posted this a while back. here It is the extreme answer to seat belts as it makes the truck think there are no seats installed at all.

Just quieting the chimes according to this thread does work, I did that first but didn't like the extra stuff so I wiped them.

Thanks for refreshing our memory. It sounds like what @hajalie24 found on Redditt is the same thing you posted in post 239.

In looking at my database of Lightnings, the 22-23's already have all 0's for these 4 parameters. The 24's have a smattering of non-zero values. So it looks like Ford changed the way seats and seat belts worked beginning in 2024.

All 4 parameters relate specifically to whether there are certain seats and seat belt sensors in the vehicle and whether they should have the Belt Reminder option. Making them all zero is certainly the extreme option!

It would take some work, but I would have instead started with just disabling the chimes and Belt Reminder values but leaving in the seats. The reason I say that is by telling the truck you don't have a rear seat (like would be in a standard cab F-150), I wonder if that also disables side airbags or other functions for the rear. You said seat heaters still work (rear also?) and maybe there aren't side curtain airbags for the rear seat. Since this is just for the IPC, it may be just cluster warnings, and there may be other places like BCM/PCM that get airbag info. I'm just spit-balling here - I'm not that knowledgeable of how that all works.

Did the Owner's manual procedure not work well enough to disable the warnings for you?
