Does anyone have the default 18 inch wheel circumference setting?

I just changed my wheels from 20s to 18s on stock tires, I set the circumference to 2560, and my speedometer is still off.

Thank you!
I recall having issues using the circumference number from my tire manufacturer (and into FORScan "easy" mode as well).

If you are able to FORScan program beyond "easy mode"

Go to this calculator (linked in 1st page) and click "file" - "make a copy"; new link will open.

Enter tire size values in green cells (row 17) and get values from rows 26 & 27.

Edit in FORScan and follow "step 3" on "module relearn"

Of course, helps if someone does chime in with their stock 18 easy mode circumferences.

shouldn't it be the outer diameter? that's likely why its off.

also if you have a scanner you can collect a couple data points

wheel speed/displayed speed (w)
gps speed (g)
current forscan diameter (d)

now calculate w/g = factor (f)

now calculate d*f = your new forscan diameter

2480 worked for me for 275/65/18 tires

Unfortunately, Active Park Assist was removed entirely in 2024 for all trims.

Hello guys. Was going back through this thread to see what additional mods to add and saw this about Active Park Assist. Can I buy the additional parking sensors and add them to the bumper, assuming the wiring harness has a place for them, and then add it through forscan and/or is another button needed inside somewhere?

Also I was looking for the option about power folding mirrors and am wondering the same thing regarding whether a switch is needed but mainly I was reading about folding mirrors and puddle lights not working. I don't know what the puddle lights are or if that is a workable option I have for the mirrors or if that was resolved. After driving the Prius for years, pulling into bank atm's, etc is a tight fit with those mirrors. I'd use them in parking lots and in my driveway as well. Thanks.

AFAIK the truck already has all of the sensors to 'enable' Active Park Assist but lacks the module/software support for it. Being a 2025 I'd place it at one step above impossible.

As far as folding mirrors, I recall someone adding it in a thread relatively recently, there were a couple caveats but I don't recall it being terribly difficult. Was within the last month. I'll see if I can rustle that up.

Edit: Little older than I remembered but this may be it.

Ok. I remember seeing that. He bot new mirrors. Somehow I thought maybe the motor was already in the ones we have and they just needed to be authorized in forscan. Nevermind.

My truck has the 4 bumper sensors but not the ones on the end of the bumper for the park assist. I thought the software was already part of forscan but I don't know. If there is a separate box that goes in there somewhere then that may go with the sensors. I'll have to research it. Thanks.

Looks like I’m part of the IPM recall and I will be bringing my truck in for the update. While I’m there, is there something that needs to be updated on the dealer side to make the PPOB when the truck is off stick? I have the toggle from the Forscan update, but it just shuts off immediately.

You may get it anyway. I believe the SOBDMC is part of the bundle that includes the PCM update.

Agree with @PJnc284. The powertrain modules are in a group. Whenever the dealer or OTA has updated one of mine they all get updated (ABS, BECM, PCM, SOBDM, SOBDMC). I got PT-25.13.12 last night and according to my new AsBuilt, those 5 modules were updated even though the notes just mentioned PCM.

Was wondering if the OTAs also updated those. Was it the BECM that was updated to add the 500 amp charging? If so this could also cover those who never received that update. Seen a handful complaining about not having it.

Sorry, I honestly don't know about the 500A one- haven't been following that since I rarely DCFC.

I can say my powertrain modules have seen 4 updates in 3 years. The one last night via OTA, and 3 at the dealer for some recalls/CSP's and when a module went bad. All of these updated ABS, BECM, PCM, and some SOBDMx.

There is also an outstanding recall for the parking module that will be delivered OTA. Sounds like that will be a powertrain update as well.

I have a 2025 Flash, Job 2 (May '25 build date), and I'm trying to find out if there is a way to enable the Approach Detection/Lighting feature (i.e., puddle lights, etc., that come on as you walk up to the truck). It is listed as a "feature" on Ford's listing of changes for Job 2 (other changes include dropping the tailgate step, phone charger, etc. all of which my truck "has".) But I have no approach lights.

I asked the dealer and he just said it was VIN specific and he couldn't find any reference on how to enable it. I know on my previous '22 XLT, this feature came as an OTA update ... so I asked him if I just had to wait ... but all I got was a puzzled look and a "Maybe" answer.

I'm wondering if this may be configureable in FORSCAN?

(FYI - I am quite conversant in FORSCAN and have used it several Ford/Lincoln vehicles since my '15 Lariat!!)

Thanks in advance!!

Sorry, have to ask - you have Welcome Lighting turned on in Sync settings, right?
What FORScan mods have you done already (specifically the Lincoln Folding mirrors)?
