It really doesn't take much elevation change to make a difference.

I live north of Knoxville on the Cumberland Plateau. Driving down to Knoxville in my MME I can get 3.3/3.5 or better at 70mph. Coming back home 2.8/3.1. Less than 1000 feet difference over 70miles

Next time, charge to 100% at home before you leave. Gives you more range, and saves money. ;)

At 1.8 that would be 235.8 miles
At 1.9 that would be 248.9 miles
The window sticker is quoting 320 miles @48kwh per 100 miles. To get our full range would we need to average 2.44kwh per mile. (131kwh usable (?) battery) Is that even doable? It appears that with normal driving that 320 miles may be a stretch.

This is on a platinum, so only 300 miles range (not 320). That 300 mile range is also in mixed driving, not highway. For EVs, range is reduced on the highway (opposite of ICE), so you should never expect the rated combined range on a road trip.

320mi is the combined range of the PRO, XLT, Lariat Extended Battery. The Platinum's combined range is 300mi.

300(or 320mi) is a stretch.. probably unattainable...if you are doing a lot of highway driving over say 30mph. I do think in city driving you could get 300/320 fairly easy.

Under optimal conditions I think 270-285 is the max you'll ever see on the highway. (As posted before...EPA highway range is 267mi for Platinum, 283mi for the others ER)

That range is based on the EPA highway cycle too, which is slower than many drive.

We really need to 70mph range tests to give us a good benchmark.

People want the EPA mileage yet they tool along at 75+mph. Not going to happen with any vehicle.

Did you use one pedal driving? I would imagine if you use that you would get better kWh.
I didn't like it at first but yes I used one pedal driving. But cruise was used most of the drive yesterday.

I couldn't get that charged before I left. I've only got the mobile charger right now. Still waiting on the pro charger....

I'm sure it's somewhere in Shanghai Harbor, ready to set sail.

The most efficient mode is the one with the least regen when not pushing the accelerator. One-pedal is the least efficient mode.
I'm not sure of what you are saying? When you use regen you charge the batteries when the truck is breaking there by adding milage to the batteries.

I think he's saying the most efficient drive would be remain at a constant speed. With one pedal you'd have to constantly apply slight acceleration pressure whereas with one pedal off you could coast.

It would be really easy with one pedal to slightly slow down without realizing it..then use energy to get back up to speed.

With blended braking I really don't see any advantage in one pedal option other than personal preference...
