I really like the new look.
Functionality? I don’t really have an opinion- they both seem fine.
However, for a SR PRO with a 98kwh battery that never goes below 20% or charges above 80%, I’m seeing some pretty wonky charging numbers

I believe we're stuck with lost route plans, try loading into Ford's native Nav app on the Sync screen, I have not looked myself, but hoping they are still there. If they are, then edit as needed from the truck.

Existing trips you planned are in the MyTrips > FordPass Trips section in the truck still - so that’s good.

I used the planner all the time - they really need to bring that back.

I also used the trailer light check feature.

I hate to be a complainer - but if those features were not quite ready for 5.0 then they should have just held it back and released when they were ready - NOT disable them right before a busy travel summer for everyone. Not sure what was going on with their release process.

The only issue with it is accepting the Terms and (complete lack of) "Privacy" Conditions ...oh well, guess I'll just have to drive like all the other vehicles I've ever owned, get in, work the pedals and turn the steering wheel.

Would mind showing a snap shot of what you're seeing?
There are two distinct types of records in the old system, just want to make sure we're eye2eye

These records I would have deleted daily on the old system because they were useless w/o the KWH data, new version shown now has the KWH.

Useful, but still stand alone incident records not further analyzed by the report.
This is the data report that I'm disappointed in losing!

Departure Timer kicked off as it has in the past.
For kicks & giggles I switched the wheel warmer on to see if it's actually on when I go out at 8am,
ambient temp is around 61 degrees so I really don't need it, but I want to see if it works in an "unplugged" operation.

UPDATE: heated wheel worked!!!!

Departure Timer kicked off as it has in the past.
For kicks & giggles I switched the wheel warmer on to see if it's actually on when I go out at 8am,
ambient temp is around 61 degrees so I really don't need it, but I want to see if it works in an "unplugged" operation.

Taxman would you mind giving more detail on accessing this screen? I haven’t found the functionality beyond activating the Fan (Start).

Luckily that can still be run from the Towing app on the Sync screen, but it is a loss of remote execution.

Yeah. My method was to hook up the trailer then fire up the app. I guess my wife will have to be back on the trailer check job. ?

Are we sure the fan icon is just “remote start” and not “dog mode”?

It is NOT dog mode. Ford still shuts off after 15 or 30 minutes, at least it is not proven otherwise. I'll never trust Ford and their SW with my dogs life.

I downloaded the app on my Delta flight (ssslllloowwww).
Initial startup took a few hard resets of the app.
Once on the ground and "normal" speed internet it seemed to catch up.
While the start screen isn't the best, so far I'm fine with it.
I am curious if the charge level slider will start charging immediately if I slide it to 100.

Taxman would you mind giving more detail on accessing this screen? I haven’t found the functionality beyond activating the Fan (Start).

After you click the FAN icon, the Climate Settings icon will dynamically appear just below, depending on screen zoom & font settings you may need to scroll up to see it, then tap it to get into the sub menu for adjustment functions.

It's a sold Meh, it's okay I'm not a big fan of the map the mapping on the old UI was a ton better than the new one
