This is a ER with max tow and blue cruise. It was $49k before tax

I sold my perfect 9,000 mile 2023 Lariat ER with Max Tow, Power running boards, spray in Bed Liner to the dealer for $47k. They sold it for $54k that week. Only reason I got rid of it was the deal that I got on a 2024 Platinum. At the time Ford X-Plan offer was $25,000 in rebates, incentives, discounts and zero % financing.

If you are open to buying a buyback, here is a 14,000 mile Buyback 2023 Lariat with Max Tow in Charlotte NC for $45,499. Dealer can let you know the reason it was bought back. I Lemon Lawed a Ford Truck that was in the shop for over 30 days for delay in getting parts. The new buyer never had another problem with it.

Lots of Lightning owners who bought before price reduction took advantage of buybacks and bought replacement's for less money.

Modules requiring updates isn't an issue, except that it should be updating OTA.

The left side battery bracket being bent is a warning of how the owner used it. The drive axles being "wet" would have me walking.

I don’t think all the HVB modules can be performed OTA. I’ve had mine updated at the local dealer a couple of times despite my vehicle is getting regular OTA updates (EAP)

That said, I don’t have a clue what’s they’re for or what they do and haven’t noticed a thing after they’ve been updated.

My best guess based off of zero data is that perhaps…

You can call or text ahead of time. Normally I’ll look at the about us page on the dealer website to see who I’ll be meeting when I get there. Also I’ll try and do some soft negotiating before going. For example I’d ask what the out the door price is.
I mean honestly tho, it’ll probably be cheaper than Carvana lol

I’m not sure how cheap is your truck, but it seems to me buying a used Lightning from a third party isn’t wise decision, since brand new ‘24’s are 0 percent apr for 72 months. If you do some math buying used one, paying interest, worrying warranty issues vs brand new with bumper to bumper warranty which if you add everything might cost almost the same as used one .Shop around .I was thinking buying a used one , but when I add everything up ‘23 lariat used and ‘24 lariat ER where $3000 difference.

I haven’t seen a new ‘24 in a while.
I do not qualify for the tax credit.
I can pay cash for a used one so the interest doesn’t factor in.
Where are you seeing 0% these days?

Also buying really depend on what configuration you are looking for in the truck. Bought mine used sight unseen because I didn't want a truck with deleted features. Took my time but finally came upon an opportunity I couldn't pass on.
If i was OP i would return it as well. Good luck hunting again.
