How to get more AC to back when in Auto?

Anyone have any suggestion?

The truck is our primary people mover. When we have 4 or 5 of us the back seat gets warm. I see some aftermarket deflectors to direct the floor level up but at least in my truck the floor level vents don't move air when in Auto mode.

With a large screen the HVAC controls are a bit of a pain to adjust to the changing needs. My wife and I end up frozen just to keep the back seat comfortable.

So the AC system in this car is so bad I took it to the dealer thinking there was something wrong.

It's just not well designed. Have the AC come out the floor and upper vents. I ended up ceramic tinting all my windows and have 0 regrets.

I still think the car handles "auto" terribly, but the comfort level is far better overall

Set AC to Floor, or Floor and Vent, and turn up the speed.

Adjust the settings manually cranking up the fan speed but adjust the dash vents to squelch the flow on you and the Mrs. hopefully the extra pressure finds its way to the rear cabin floor vents.

I've seen several people mention adding 3d printed extensions to the vents under the front seats. I haven't seen an explanation of what it's supposed to fix, but I assume it somehow improves air distribution to the rear.

Did you check to see if "driver focused" is selected on the climate screen?

I bought the extensions and they definitely work. The lower vent for the rear passengers are shoved so far up under the front seats, it makes no sense.
