Besides the phone applications being updated, I haven't heard or seen new updates for our trucks. The last priority update was back in May, and for myself, the BC 1.4 update hit in early June.

I guess no news is good news, or that layoff had an affect our our updates.

If they could finish that BC 1.4 rollout, I'm to the point I don't think we'll see anything else for these trucks and platform. Ford accomplished more than I thought they could over the last 3 years with the menu redesign and some instrument panel changes, then getting BC 1.4 but truly we know this isn't Tesla where new cool things will continue to come. This Sync and platform is dead. If they finally just get the advertised stuff working and upgraded. It would still be nice to get ProPower w/o starting the truck added to the older trucks, but I'm not counting on that anymore.

They've moved on to the newer platform that made it to the '25 Expedition and now whatever might come for the new EV platform announced today.

While it would be nice, I would agree. There could some sort of maintenance releases, but any new major features are not going to happen.

Is there anything top of mind?

New features would be great, but I don’t think I have any major - ugh they need to fix that - on the top of my mind right now.

Keep in mind if you give me new issues to think about, I will forever hold it against you

Consider yourself lucky, I haven't gotten any updates since December or October of last year. Only two or three updates in the 2 and a half years I've had the truck

Here’s my current wish list:
1) ProPower without the truck on.
2) Ability to override the 6 minute ProPower “low load” shutdown.
3) Ability to limit the charge rate in the truck.
4) Visibility of of charge rate in the truck.

Newer models already have some of these.

Those all seem like great ideas. While we're wish-listing, how about making the Parking button useful? It can't be hard to make it pull up the 360 cam / front cam view.

Wow I was just thinking the same thing. I haven't had any updates in a while. I was hoping for some new features or something.

same. no blue cruise no walk away door lock...forever waiting
Be careful what you wish for on the "Walk Away Locking", it's incredibly half-baked. There is no toggle to disable it, it honks when it locks which seems to be right when someone is standing in front of it (had a guy threaten me thinking I did it intentionally), and there's no way to say you don't want it to auto-lock when at home. Having the keypad is the only thing that makes it tolerable since every time you need something from the truck it will be locked.

Whatever Product Manager at Ford keeps approving software features that change how the vehicle behaves without the ability to toggle it off needs to be moved into a position where they aren't required to make decisions.

I just want them to fix the bug that "forgets" the clocks 12/24 hour setting every time you start the truck. It's been a bug since I took delivery in Oct. 2023.

I have a 2023 Lariat as well - late 2022 build - picked up in January 2023. My symptoms are different than your 2023 Lariat.

it honks when it locks
Mine does not honk. It just quietly locks, sends me a notification through FordPass and gives me no choice. I don't mind it the way it is, but I agree, the honk is annoying.

Mine also does not have this problem. I can set it to either mode and it will stay there.

I wonder if there were certain module hardware versions or software sequence of events that make them behave differently.

I received the walk away door lock update but it doesn’t work because of the BCM or whatever. I don’t really care about that one.
At this point I would be grateful if I could at least get BC 1.2.
