I'm going to order a leveling kit for the front of my Lightning tonight. And searching the listings for the specific one that I'm interested in it shows that it fits all of the ICE versions of the F-150 excluding the Raptor. It says nothing about whether or not it will fit the Lightning. Are the front struts the same? Can I use an ICE leveling spacer kit on a Lightning truck?

I can confirm they are the same. I can also confirm that they will wear out your UCAs pretty quick. Cost more but the Eibach kit is well worth it For a 3” lift up front

Thanks. I bought the MotoFab 1.5" leveling spacers for $65 bucks. I typically use eBay spacers for around $25 bucks because it's a block of aluminum. How can you screw that up? But in this case I splurged for the MotoFab since this is such an expensive truck. LOL.

My struts and coils have 1000 miles on them. No sense in trashing these. I just want a small lift up front. And these top load spacers usually work great. My 2005 F-150 has had spacers like this up front and it's got 225,000 miles now with no issues.

That’s pretty mild. You should be good! I put 65k miles on the truck with a 2.5 puck before signs of failure presented themselves

Didn’t notice much while
Driving. Noticed it when rotating the tires. There was noticeable play on the spindle when swapping tires. Upon replacing the UCAs, it was obvious that the factory ball joint was done. Very loose

Do not do spacers. The ride will suck, your alignment will always be out of spec, drive path will drift, and suspension components wear out quicker.

If you're going to do a front level, get a quality made kit like Eibach or Fox struts with longer UCAs.

Do not go cheap on this. You will regret it. Trust me.

Here I will help... YES they are the same. Just get it aligned after and don't go over 2" with just blocks.

I've lost track of how many trucks and SUVs I've put these types of spacers on. A dozen? Twenty? Never had a single issue. And as I already mentioned, I have a 2005 F-150 right now with 225,000 miles on it and it's had 2.5" spacers on top of the struts for the last 15 years.

I've also gone the replacement strut direction on a couple of trucks, mainly using Bilstein parts. Wasn't a fan. Changes the ride quality more, and you never know exactly how much lift you're going to end up with.

Happy for you. Nevertheless I remain correct in everything I've said.
